There should be a way to create your own item list suggestions for types or certain characters. The auto suggestive items it gives you aren't great. And if you click on a guide and hit select because it is a bit comparable it still gives you the same exact suggestive items as if you didn't select a guide. The game needs a list you can create and use. Even if you know what you want so you do a search for the items to create it unless you have every single part of it memorized that does you no good unless you try and save up to buy it in full which you lose gold when you die so that creates another problem because unlike the suggestive you can click on item there and gives you the break down to buy in pieces but can't if you search for the item. So it is in dire need of an item list creator.

There is an item list creator in the main menu which is how all of those guides are created. Go to Heroes tab on the main menu then under that tab you should see guides once on the heroes page. You can press create and select hero from there to make your own guide in whatever depth you please.
