Dota 2
Do i need to intentionally feed to finally get a team?
2nd day of consecutive ♥♥♥♥ games just 'cause i did my best lately and upped some few hundreds mmr last week.
If this the reward for trying - matching with smoothbrain afk/leavers every game?

I gained a bunch of mmr, was getting good performance scores according to stratz. Then the game started to put me into teams with terrible teammates I had no chemistry with and started on a lose streak. Easy uninstall for a while. ♥♥♥♥ this abusive piece of ♥♥♥♥ matchmaking system that punishes you for playing well and puts you into losing team.

the glicko matchmaking made dota 2 worse than expected! glicko s-h-it is designed for 50-50 win loss matchmaking! dota 2 gamemakers are not doing anything because smurfs are making this game to thrive but making it miserable for genuine players!

just play turbo o unranked until you break the losing streak, and then play ranked.abuse the sistem

When you're in losing spree just play unplayed/bad heroes or experimental build dare I say grief :) as no amount of hard work or hell even the Open AI is going to help you win against the forced loss losing spree games since you're just a single player out of 9 players in the game

You aint wrong. Whats your best win streak and loss streak? I hit 50 wins out of 56. Then after i hit like legend 5 (a few years back) anti smurf kicked in and i lost about 38. The last 8 around archon 4 to archon 2 though i just mucked around on techies as there was no point to play. Just had to take the losses on the chin

Fine with me, as long as they do their best. They choose to leave or grief in the game.
> sometimes it's YOU
I play supps, supp heroes can not win solo usually.

I am ok loosing some, but not like this. The way system forces lost games is just disgusting.
I think you've missed the point- what I was getting at is that YOU cannot always be the lowest MMR person on your team, with everyone else carrying you.
And because of the nature of DotA, sometimes your teammates are going to have bad matches. Just as I'm sure you sometimes have bad matches.

It happens to all of us, and the only real solution is to make your own stacks and bypass the matchmaking entirely.

I do not complain about not "being carried", it's natural to loose some.
Happy to commend opponents in a close game.

Being *forced to loose* sucks though. When games are not even close, people leave, griefor afk farm till our ancient falls.

If i put more effort in i want to be matched with someone who also does so on their side.
Not with someone who underperforms to a point that our combined team average becomes just "normal" and in line with expected for mmr bracket.

That's why you meet all the other players that prefer strict solo queue. It's your peer group that let's you down.

Play unrank, at least you won't lose mmr.
It's the same ♥♥♥♥.

That's plain LIE.

The system will match you against teams that are better (or the reverse) than you, depending on WHO must win.

You're only solution is to have a captain & do this kind of ban/phase as in TI.

Even then, I'm not sure they would not rig the engine, in game (last hit not counted etc) , in order to obtain what they want.

or ultimately the bans will be unfair (in ALL pick mode standard).

Don't think so, the group to sample from is just too big, almost always full different set of people in two games back to back.
Skill skew after a winstreak is consistent though.

And what's your proof of that? Please tell me it's something more convincing than "I had a bunch of bad matches in a row".
