Dota 2
Should I play Counter-Strike 2 or Dota 2?
Hello I have to make a decision because I can only really excel in the game if I don't have other stressful games to play so what game is better CS2 or Dota 2? Is there any reason why you chose Dota 2 over CS2?

2 very different games. play whichever you enjoy more. I will say, counterstrike has a real big cheater problem right now, so dota may be less enraging if you are looking at it with a more competitive mindset which it sounds like you are.

Which game has the better future and is still gonna be around in 50 years? or at least in 20 years?

or what game is more rewarding to play in the long run? If I invest 1000 hours into CS2 or Dota 2 what would be better?

Dota 2 patch that has come out has enabled all heroes to be in their most original state - in a long time -they're all extremely powerful,
There's a lot more depth to dota than CS2. > . < I abandoned CS2 thanks to Dota, It's far more satisfying [for me] -
the seasonal things are cool, playing heroes for a theme, or unlocking content is really great, as you ease into it' it just keeps getting more comfortable , or better
that is hard to say. Both games are a decent choice in the ways you are asking. both games have been around for 10+ years, have some kind of pro scene, streaming scene, and healthy playerbase, which are all good indicators that it will be around a while. Both games also have items that you can earn in game that you can then sell for steambucks in the steam market.

will they not improve it in time though? should i really drop cs2 and just focus on dota 2 only? I played both games fairly equally but i also played cs: source back then for a long time. I really don't know what to pick from these two.

I only have a Diamond Riptide Operation Coin that was the final op in cs:go and I thought Valve would soon give us a new operation that would maybe start making me want to play it again.

nice, i would say, objectively now - the Competitive scene of CS2 / is far more forgiving than the trash you would need to deal with in dota.. that part is sad... but .. the other alternative is never taking anything ever said in this game to the next level. use it as a training ground to mute the things you want to say.. because people are also purely baiting each other's bad behaviour to make their reports seem more valid.. :/
I've played dota 1 casually, since 2004, and have loved it since we've met... dota 2 took it to the next level, and there have been many levels of progress, and lack of progress too [greed, lootboxing, ] I play CS from time to time, but never want to play it competitively,... my other friends do... :/ dota is the place for infinite training, infinite learning, and you will usually feel rewarded , and maybe even feel like you learnt something new a few times a day :)
CS2 is flatter than it looks :D and because it's the same no matter what gun you have.. cs2 will rarely ever be able to be on dota's true level of complexity;

Honestly I agree. CS2 always has the same weapons since 1.6 and the only new things is new maps and a new smoke grenade in cs2... I guess I really will switch to Dota 2. It seems to be the best Valve game at the moment? I still want to hear some opinions who played both CS2 and Dota 2.

Then what do you recommend? I looked through the trash and the best games I found were this:

OSRS & RuneScape 3
EverQuest: Project 1999 (don't really like it, too difficult and slow)
Counter-Strike 2
Dota 2

I simply want to find a game to main. All the above games allow for infinite playtime. So what do you recommend?
Cause I've been playing many games simultaneously and I realized I am not getting the progress I want if I played just a single game forever.

i hope so, but right now the leaks kind of look like a cheap overwatch clone, which is confusing because the real overwatch is not doing well right now. why copy non success?
