Can't load the first match every time I boot the game

For about 2 weeks now I haven't been able to load into the first match every time I open Dota 2. The second match and onwards will load just fine. Tried validating my files but the issue persists. If anyone can offer any solutions, I would be very grateful.

You should creat a praviate match to try to load the game, but it requre you have a friend, because if you creat the room, you is the server, so you always could load. Also move the game to SSD also will help you.

You probably playing dota 2 on HDD, its very old bug, if so, try dota 2 on SSD, the game itself not compatible for HDD anymore.

have nothing to do with hdd, or ssd, the bug started after last 2 update, i run the game on a m2 disck and i have same bug, the update is the problem.

Unfortunately, I don't have an SSD. Only have an HDD.

How much RAM do you have? This used to happen to a friend on mine and it turned out to be a RAM issue. In his case, one of the sticks was dead.

16 gb. Might be a similar case; the ram I have is pretty old and outdated.

Yeah might be worth running windows memory diagnostics or memtest or something. Though, like purity suggested, my friend's workaround at the time was to just load up a bot match, let it fail, and then reboot the game.
