Unfortunately this can happen if you get fiercely reported by many players in game at once. Which can happen if people were particularly unhappy with your performance. It's rare, but can happen.
Then for matching it says matching disabled due to excessive reports, failing to ready up, abandoning or other negative behaviour.

Most likely you were matched with seasoned players and they thought you're not new, but griefing
Just consider that a break from Dota.
Either way - very unfortunate.
That still doesn't justify a ban.
I don't mind that the game is hard for new players, but getting banned for it makes me absolutely livid xD
In all my years as a gamer I struggle to find other examples of a system this stupid
A permanent break is what I'm considering. Why would I bother with a game that makes me feel this unwelcome?
