Got banned for being new

Hi, I have started playing this game a few days ago, I did the tutorials, played a few bot matches and had just started to try some unranked matches. The last match did not go well. I got reported and immediatly got banned for 8 hours.
How can this possibly be justified?

What do you mean by "banned"? Like, literally unable to play or have you been sent to Low Priority? Because last I checked there are no "bans" in DOTA, but you can get your communications revoked.

Unfortunately this can happen if you get fiercely reported by many players in game at once. Which can happen if people were particularly unhappy with your performance. It's rare, but can happen.

I got a notification that I have been issued an Overwatch penalty after review of the match I played. (Wich seems ridiculous. It was reviewed instantly? how?)
Then for matching it says matching disabled due to excessive reports, failing to ready up, abandoning or other negative behaviour.

Banned from queing for any matches exept matches vs bots

Hm, hard to say something since everyone's data isn't public.
Most likely you were matched with seasoned players and they thought you're not new, but griefing

Some time ago Valve outsourced work to players to deal with griefers, and one of these "employers" decided you are griefer and rest followed

hello for now try picking strickly support heroes ,like lion , dazzle, crystal maiden. During laning stage only attack enemy players and let your carry get all farm. Use all support abilities on friendly player. Experiment with wards and healing salve (you can use it on teammates).

btw I would suggest avoiding telling your team you are new. You may just enrage them even more. Just... look at what they do, what enemy does and figure out your favourite style of game that can support your team

An overwatch verdict, huh. That quick? I struggle to believe it - they usually take days to process things. Maybe you got penalised for a different match long ago? I also don't remember if you can report people in bot matches (you shouldn't be).
Either way - very unfortunate.

That still doesn't justify a ban.

I don't mind that the game is hard for new players, but getting banned for it makes me absolutely livid xD

In all my years as a gamer I struggle to find other examples of a system this stupid

You are a victim of valves matchmaking. They have a fetish of creating mixed skill games. Most people are intolerant of noobs because they are often matched into games with new smurf accounts creating a huge imbalance. You got reported because you are a forced loss for whatever team you are on

A permanent break is what I'm considering. Why would I bother with a game that makes me feel this unwelcome?

u r buying midas frist item(starting whit naked gloves) not even boot frist...u didnt buy a single consumable item (salve tango...) and u ended up 1/14 u shouldnt get 8 hour ban u should get a permanent ban...
