Dota 2
dota 2 crashing after launching after the crownfall update
Dota somehow crashes after launching for a lil bit. I click play and then it launches for a bit, right after the logo shows it then crashes and closes the game. Sometimes i can reach the homescreen but then it crashes. I have windows 10 and drivers all updated, im not really sure why this is happening

Have tried several things but nothing works. I have asked steam support and im waiting for a response. The only thing is someone seemed to have gotten it fixed by resetting their pc, but I ain't gonna try that just to play dota, I'd rather wait for a potential fix from valve, cuz it has to be from the recent update.

I found a fix for me personally. Here's what I did to fix it: (with the help of some user on the internet a year back of course ;) )

Go to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\game\dota\cfg"
You should then see a folder called "gamestate_integration"
I simply deleted everything INSIDE the folder completely (SHIFT + DELETE)
I had logitech, overwolf and steelseries laying there and apparently caused some issues.

Hope it works for you too, but at least now I can demo hero.

the folder is not there it seems like. well, ill just wait for the issue to be resolved, its a big thing so i doubt theyd leave it like this for long

I guess maybe we didn't have the exact same problem. Really seems like dota 2 is in alpha still, good luck tho.
I found those files let’s see
