alt gr (right alt key) ping doesnt work anymore

anyone else? since the crownfall update right alt key ping does the same for me as the left alt ping (both ping ! instead of ! and x)

also i can no longer use it to say day/night time left, enemy has returned, someone should buy... etc

verifying game files didnt help

it works only when i press ctrl + left alt + mouse click but thats 1 extra button i need to press and i cant play like that

Same problem. In addition to that, I can't even rebind keys anymore.

They got switched for me too in the crownfall update. Plus I have an "í" key under "A" in the left corner. Previous update erased my keybind on it and didn't let me bind it anymore. In Crownfall update, I could bind it again. Valve is so random sometimes...

sounds like the update messed with your keyboard layouts.

every time i launch dota the us keyboard layout is being added and i need to remove it manually. otherwise i end up switching to it by accident and my hotkeys dont work.

anyway glad im not alone. hope valve looks into it...

Haha thats not new. It has always been like that. Dota and i think some of the Counter-Strike games add the english keyboard layout. Been having this "issue" for like 5-6 years.

yeah thats a flaw of the source engine i guess but it doesn't bother me that much. only the alt gr key not working is a real issue for me.

No sadly not. I think dota 2 is still in beta though, so its fine.

ok i fixed it. go to your windows setting/accessibility/ keyboard and turn of everything there... including: key toggles and sticky keys and whatever you can see. right now it s working. lets hope nothing else happens.
