Need help on quitting Dota...
I'm serious, have been playing the game since Brood Mother is still a Jungle Creep.

I've deleted the game more times than I could count already.

But one way or another, I always come back to it just to make my sanity suffer even more T_T

Someone... please help...

Make an alt account and get your main account banned

I played dota 1 back in 2009 quite a bit, was a beta tester for dota 2, invited quite a few friends into the beta.

I even have 1500 hours in dota2, but I quit a few years back.

It wasnt easy, but it was definitely the best decision I made for my mental health.

I myself managed to quit back in 2017. Everything was in order & at peace in my life. Until 2020 hits and i reinstalled dota for the first time in ages. Uninstalled it again in 2021 tried to quit but reinstalled it once more in 2022 and remains until today.

Idk man dota curse is real, hard to escape it. But compared to before i only play 1-3 games per day, usually 2 & sometimes none at all. I think i found balance in it probably.

Goodluck comrade o7
i hope you will be the first to quit dota till death

At the end of the day. You are a man of addiction. So its better you are addicted to a free game as opposed to gambling money, or alcohol or Russian/Ukraine porn. So thank his excellency Gaben. Albeit a poorly made game, he's still saving you and many other alot of money. Chinese though, they aint saving money as they spend up big on this trash

Read my review of dota.
Realize it's cheated to the bone. and forget about it as a "challenge" it's cheated, it's not a "challenge". it's sh**...
Yet here you are still playing on a daily basis..... kind of redundant for you to argue constantly about the game when you play this "cheated" game religiously.
Stockholm syndrome much??

Well that is easy first u need money then this is important part listen carefully buy FLAMETHROWER rest its easy ,u take pc a give him a shower with flamethrower. Some people claim that u can use gasoline and matches to get same results ,but i would not risk it better just go with flamethrower. Every guy needs a good flamethrower it fix your problems easily.

find different thing to do, find something fun, doing exercise helps lot to mental minds or make your self busy with other things, for me making myself busy did work pretty well if those things doesnt work my final offer is "do crime so jail can keep you away from it"

i write this as experience. Stay away from your pc, you will always comeback to games when you feel bored and have nothing better to do. Try to find a new hobby, many go to gym, do some sport, get a part-time job, in short : touch more grass. It is hard to get used to new hobby and build new dopamin systeme for the new hobby. But once it is all set, you will feel more happy everyday

My recommendation would be to keep track of your enjoyment. I used to have a big problem with dota but after every game I would write down on a scale of 1-10 how much I enjoyed the game. After some time it was obvious that I just was not having a good time playing. I stopped playing for a good 5 years. (I'm back at it now though, how well did it really work?)
