Why am I bothering to play support ?

every freaking game it's the same. idiots who go offlane WK and offlane Kunkka rushing deadalus 1st item and radiance and go afk in jungle to farm.

Or sniper and drow mid, who ignore the tempo of the game, go afk farming because they want to build turbo mode and lose the game in 30 minute stomps.

and when you report them either for griefing or role abuse ... you dont have action taken against them. Which means it's not punishable. which means it's to build like a clown and not play your role.

so why am I bothering trying to do the right thing ? I'll just afk farm jungle with AA, willow or hoodwink, and farm carry item so the team can have a 5th position 1 player, and ignore everyone else, since it's not frown upon, and I'll win as many games anyway.

Every game are like this. Either the team plays well, everyone plays it's role and the game is over in 25-30 minutes. or they are clowning around and we lose in 25-30 minutes.

if thats not the case, the other team will just sit back and afk farm 10 more minutes before ending the game in 1 ez push.

actual games that goes the distance where everyone TRY are ... once in 20 ?

If support role doesn 't work for you, do all 5 roles ques for some time, and then you can do any role you want for awhile. Don't need to torture yourself. Support is an easy going role, you have little responsibilities so don't take loses too seriously either, if you did all you could it wasn't your fault in the end.

When you're losing it's going to feel bad no matter which side of the fence you're on- go carry and you'll complain about supports taking farm, not harassing, and rushing midas. And they'll probably be complaining about you.

I dont complain about poeple stealing farm or getting midas to get xp faster. I mean people not playing their position. going clowny build with no idea why.

I had a pos 3 pudge going mageslayer and aether lens. He did 280 dmg in melee attack at the end of the game. that was quite a good item choice.

mid WK going afk jungle and refusing to team up, watch us lose the game, while he rush radiance 1st item. he's 0-10 , it's 40-7 in kills for the other team, and on a timing to get his 30 minutes radiance just before the throne falls.

offlane kunnka rushing midas + deadalus, than complaining supports and carry drow arent front-laning and tanking for him.


and that's not punishable ... it's not considered ruining the game for some reason. so these clown just queue a new ranked game, and do it again.


So you have 0 chance of winning half of your game to these clowns, and since it's not punishable, you have to deal with the same crap over and over again. (and here I dont mean poeple going with "unconventionnal" pick who actually try to play their position, or poeple taking bad decision and bad position in teamfight. that I don't mind, at least they try. I know I'm not high enough in the ranking for poeple to understand 5 heroes is stronger than 2 heroes).

They are stuck in that mmr for a reason... the only common factor in all of your games is you. So you have to have a positive impact in all of your games... As a support you can control the game and carry the game even if your carry are feeding, and i don't mean to build carry items yourself. Even a bad carry player can stomp the game with a good support. See what u can improve in your gameplay. you don't have to win all of your games, just most of then. your mmr will go up and they will stay in the same place they already are.

Ps.: I went from legend to immortal only playing support.

Legend, that's good. it means you have poeple who understand item build and are trying to win games by playing correctly. you dont have a guy who leave at 8 minutes and afk out in forest and get out only when rax are down and all he acheive was to farm a radiance in 28 minutes.

I could be as great of a support I want, it's impossible to win a game supporting someone who's not even trying to win.

I lost 2k mmr when they redid the ranking and I've never been able to get back up, since half of my games are automatic loss.

I lost 8 game last week out of 17. 6 of those losses where games where we had absolutely 0 chance of winning because of a clown that force us to fight 4 v 5 for 30 minutes. (in all honesty, we won one we should've lost, but somehow the other team core did the same, but just worst, so it was a 4 v 4 game that we end up winning).


it's not something that happens once in a blue moon. It's litterally 6 days out of 7 I had a game with a player like this IN MY TEAM. and each time it happens, I have to win two games to erase that one instant loss. no one sports a 75% win rate to counter balance this ratio.

And that means, with games without any freaking clowns in my teams, I did won 9 out of 11. which means I had a freaking great week. But in the end, I only got 25 mmr this week, by having a GREAT week. I wont be GREAT every single week. There are weeks where I'll win 50 or 60% of those game, which means I end up dropping in MMR.

Because to get out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crusader and archon is stupidly 100% pure chance because I'm not playing with a 5 man stack. It's simply impossible playing duo and solo to actually grow in ranking, unless you are already way higher and have random poeple who are decent in almost all games.

Bottom line is ; poeple are ruining ranked games by not even trying to play with the team, and they are not punished for it. So they do it again and again and again, because they role queue, and if they get a position they dont like, they say ♥♥♥♥ it, I wont play my position, I'll afk farm to get kills.

And there is nothing we can do anything about it, since the report system won't punish them, they keep doing it. Now we have to pray the game we lose are quick so we have a shoot at playing 2 more game that night and somehow win both to counterbalance 1 guy screwing us over...

I am giving a clown reward because you want to report them for griefing or role abuse just because they make mistakes or you do not like the way they play and they are not by definition griefing or role abusing...that seems like a bit of an ass thing to. Take a break from the game or don't play support.
Your making it sound like the community should just report any wrong mistakes now people make instead of of helping them out or giving advice.
"its not my job to teach them how to play bla bla bla..."yeah yeah I get it but wanting to abuse the report function for player mistakes is TOXIC AF and you sir will make the community look bad if you advocate for such usage.
If they don't take your advice and give you lip in any way that is 100% legit verbal toxicity and such okay report but do not use it for you pleasure.
