Help: Voice Chat is Not Working
I played a party, so I was going to use voice chat party. At first, mic level in Dota 2 setting is not working at all. I go to Steam settings using Shift+Tab. I set correct mic device on Voice tab Steam menu. It worked when I tested it. I also check on In-game tab Steam menu. It set to Steam device and worked when tested it, but it cannot be changed. It worked nothing, but somehow after retrying the same things, my Dota 2 setting finally recognize voice in mic level. I tried both push to talk and open mic to voice chat party. Though my friend could not hear me. I restarted Steam and nothing worked. At last, we use external app, and my mic is fine.

TL;DR
Dota 2 mic setting not recognize voice > Changed correct device in Steam setting > Dota 2 mic setting recognize voice > Restart Steam > Dota 2 mic setting recognize voice but not working to my friend in party

Did I miss something?

maybe your behaviour score is low?

I'm not sure as I've been off Dota 2 for a few years. But it is weird if blocked by low behaviour score, as it is party, we make our own team. It does not even work in party lobby (before joining the game).

you cannot even talk in your own guild if your communist social credit score is too low that the dota system is using

I think that would be the case. After I check, I have below 8k communication score for voice chat.

Guild is more public, so I would not be surprised if people blocked by low credit. But party is privately accepted players, so I'm surprised.

I rarely chat, and never use voice chat in team, but my low communication score is probably from old behavior system conversion. I had poor gaming performance.

Well, thanks for the help guys.
