+fps_max 300

Only these 2 options are vaguely related to "optimisation". -novid disables the intro movie. fps_max can also be set in the Video settings.

-map dota

Redundant since 2020. Dota 2 preloads the map and other assets by default.

-dx9

Invalid option, does nothing since 2021. DirectX 9 support was removed from Dota 2.

+dota_minimap_hero_size 1000
+dota_minimap_ping_duration 3
+cl_showfps 1
-useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

All these are not related to performance / optimisation.


There is a lot of bad / outdated advice about launch options. Please ask about specific options and don't copy blindly.
