FPS dropping slowly during the game, making the endgame a slideshow

Dear Volvo,
Please stop making cars and fix Dota2.

On a serious note, since the event came there are many people complaining about the fps drop and i have the same problem.
Other games work fine only dota seems to be the problem since the event came and the patch dropped.
Game starts fine with 160FPS and as the time passes around minute 60 it reaches to 60FPS. I know my laptop is potatoish but everything used to work fine few months back. The problem is that the FPS is so unstable and jumping up and down, can't really play properly.
Before the patch the FPS didn't go under 100. Managed to make it somehow playable by making the FPS limit to 100 but it still fells laggy.

Maybe the whole mini games and the event page in the background are eating the resources or the arcana promotion on the main page. Something is fishy.

I know you wont fix the broken matchmaking but at least give us the old FPS back so that we can fool ourselves in thinking we can beat the rigged matchmaking.

Try the following. In the settings in the "Sound" category, there is a function "Simplified microphone activation", after I enabled this feature, ALL freezes disappeared, EVERYTHING is fine.

same here. with 4060ti ryzen 7 5700x . getting 70fps later in end game. changed to lowest graphic settings does not work. still 70fps average. no overheating whatsoever. strange

i think when the event ends and all that nonsense from the main page disappears, all will go back to normal. It's sad that this game still feels like it's in beta stage.
