Playing dota ranked is a waste of time, every single game is predetermined to make you waste as much time as possible. For the past week I went from 4.1k mmr to 3.4k and there is literally nothing I can do about it.

Every single game is the same story, I mainly play offlane, my pos 4 picks a useless hero, dies in my lane and then roams. I still win or at least go even in 1vs2 lanes, meanwhile my mid always picks a completely useless hero and loses lane and never roams. My safelane gets stomped, which makes no sense since they are playing a 3vs2. And while all this is happening the enemy pos 1 is free farming the entire game but no one cares.

Why would the matchmaking be rigged against you but never the other team? Why would Valve even do that?

Now this is a known logical problem. Valve could do it to push the win/lose ratio closer to 50% for everyone. Then players who suck relatively more don´t get enough of the game so easily. I don´t know any other games, where after having 3000 games, your win rate keeps dropping closer to 50%, not vice versa. Slowly but steadily. I just suck, you would say...

But I am usually beating my position. Winning lanes, being ahead in KDA, GPM and XPPM <-- all that simultaneously. But from time to time there is just nothing I can do to avoid getting idiots in my team. And when I say "idiots" I don´t mean players who are having a bad game, but the complete morons, who are clueless of whats going on. They pick strangely, build items even more so, they don´t play their position, or are completely passive when it´s time to push, etc. Now you would say, I´m toxic and no wonder I lose. Well, if I see my team picking only heroes that have nothing to cast, zero thinking of team as a whole and I can tell from picking phase, that the game will be lost, then yes, wasted 40 minutes can cause some toxic feelings indeed.

As I said: the only game where after playing and playing you won´t feel that you are doing any better. Or even if you do, that would not be enough for seeing it in the stats...

Exactly, if Valve wants to reduce toxicity why not allow people to surrender pointless games? If my mid picks WK and goes jungle within the first minutes of the game why should I be forced to waste 40 minutes of my life?? I am human, obviously these kind of players will frustrate me amd make me toxic

There is a surrender feature, you can call GG after 30 minutes if you're playing in a 5 stack. Just because you don't meet the requirements does not mean the feature isn't relevant.
Also alot of losing games can quite easily be turned around if you get a few good team fights or secure key items. All of this is basic knowledge yet you seem to be oblivious to this and instead choose to trash talk team mates and pretend you're in the upper percentile of players.

Oh and nobody is forcing you to stay, you can leave at any moment. It's a matter of do you want to try to play as a team and try to turn the game around or do you want to go into LP.

Then again the community is to blame and you're being held back by Valve right? 🤔

Imagine looking at this and not understanding the statistical impossibility of this being a regular occurance. I guess it comes down to a lack of critical thinking amongst the average dota players, very sad. If only more people could open their eyes and see the truth

I hate surrender features. its so tilting and distracting in league of legends.
almost every single game someone wants to surrender.
If people lose their lane they want to surrender.
you have to permanently deny those requests

Half the games people want to surrender are actually winnable.
and many of the other ones could be too if people didnt just start inting or soft inting when their surrender request does not go through

playing from behind is a natural part of playing a moba.. unless you are 0/5 in lane or some crap like that you can comeback

and dota is way less punishing when you die in lane. someone can be 10/0 but you can kill them easily.
no surprise that a league player think this feature would be good in dota

Imagine searching through reddit to find any post you can to validate your own thread...... almost like looking through YouTube to find a video and sharing it even though it has no relevance to the topic or even the game.

If you tried as hard at dota as you do searching for posts similar to your topic then maybe you might actually win..... if Valve let's you.
