people believing this kind of crap without dotabuff match history being linked should be required to participate in an IQ test
whenever people link their match history it always instantly becomes apparent they are talking garbage, and you wont do it because you know it would expose yourself and your misinformation
before smurfing was forbidden i used to smurf.. i always was able to achieve a 80-90% winrate until i was in range of 500 mmr to my real rank
people like mason achieved the same even until 10k mmr after they got banned
You realise handicap roles literally helps prove the nonsense of the matchmaking the fact that these matchmaking defenders ignores several evidence like this already tells me everything
You're winning during your handicap games because you get better teammates and worse enemies during your handicap roles games outside handicap games you just get worse teammates and better enemies just like how the matchmaking works
Sure you could use this to gain rank but in the end game just want to fill the match using this tactic to force the players to go certain route role and play the roles players don't want aka supports and sometimes this ends up backfiring because players end up griefing their roles playing core items/behaviours to make the team thus even then handicap gives you 80-90% of the win if i remember correctly due to this
If you abuse the handicap periodically you end up in the shadow pool so the players never win only the house aka the game wins
For some reason shadow pool account max rank is Ancient 5 to Divine 1 similar to mine this main account can't ever go over Divine only in my alt accounts I can easily go over Divine rank
The first thing any players should ever check for ranked matchmaking is whether their account is black or shadow pool/listed then the players can worry about the blue pill nonsense like improving skills otherwise its pointless to improve your skill on black listed player account that's impossible to gain rank impossible because of the .1% chance to gain rank in the specific account aka waste thousands hrs just to gain rank in the specific black listed account no wonder dota 2 players play time hrs is on thousands hrs due to this more than any other game similar game is also league
Its easier to get higher rank in chess than Dota 2 try it better for your mind and health imo
You lost mmr because you and your team lost the game. That is the reason, take it on the chin and look for ways to play better and be a better team mate instead of looking to blame every factors other than yourself.
Based on your idea of matchmaking being rigged etc that must mean that you truly haven't won a game, it was just the other teams time to lose.
So maybe you're not as good as you think you are.

that is like saying you need to be a pro player to have a high winrate in gold or platinum in league
come on. you told before that you are top 1% in league. i dont know if its true, but you are aware that the exact same type of people which complain about rigged matchmaking are plentiful in league, right?
a big amount of people in bronze or silver over there which believe they belong in platinum or emerald at least or whatever like that
i get being tilted and quitting because you are on a losing streak. but eventually its time to reevaluate the situation and realize that you have performed very badly recently
if you are truly top 1% in league, then tell me what do you think about all the low rank league players which claim the exact same stuff over there

There is nothing to re-evaluate, I climbed to 4.1k mmr playing the exact same way I did on my losing streak. You are just trying to gaslight me, I know where my skill level is at.
One of them does not even play Ranked and was Crusader last time they played.
The other one is an Ancient with private profile.

This is exactly the mentality i'd expect from somebody who is pushing the rigged matchmaking threads and spreading misinformation.
How far does it have to go before you self analyse your performance and actually understand that you could have performed better. I know it hurts the ego to accept that you're not as good as you think you are etc but it does help you improve.
Maybe he cannot go with the true meaning of "understanding", so he keeps defending his points there.
are you aware of the consequences of what you are implying?
in league mmr and visual rank are seperated and this creates its own problems.. people can be stuck for a while there because even a 60% or 70% winrate does not make u rank up. you have to fix your mmr first which can take 200 games or whatever

you are implying that the ranking system in neither game makes any sense.
you are implying that gold players in league are able to hold a diamond player hostage in their ranks.
Which means you are implying that plenty of gold players are as good as diamond players, otherwise this would not be statistically possible.
it also means that people on ancient in dota would be as bad as archons yet somehow still maintain their rank. quite weird
which means ranking up is just luck according to you?
If that is so, how do you take any pride in your ranks? according to yourself the whole ranking does not make any sense, and therefore you achieving top 1% in league is completely meaningless.
and yes you do take pride in your ranks. otherwise you would not complain about losing
