The matchmaking is rigged
Playing dota ranked is a waste of time, every single game is predetermined to make you waste as much time as possible. For the past week I went from 4.1k mmr to 3.4k and there is literally nothing I can do about it.

Every single game is the same story, I mainly play offlane, my pos 4 picks a useless hero, dies in my lane and then roams. I still win or at least go even in 1vs2 lanes, meanwhile my mid always picks a completely useless hero and loses lane and never roams. My safelane gets stomped, which makes no sense since they are playing a 3vs2. And while all this is happening the enemy pos 1 is free farming the entire game but no one cares.

By looking at my dotabuff you can clearly see that I have been put into a losers queue.

Start spamming the most op broken hero you know how to play and see your MMR skyrocket.

Start playing balanced again and see the losing streaks role in.

Especially if you go off-meta or with anyone that was nerfed recently, you will have your faced donkeypunched 8 times out of 10. It's all so tiresome. Dota 2 used to be balanced and offer good choices. It's turning into League with "this hero is meta patch X".

Ok, here's some advice from someone with a similar story:

1) Try to play other roles, especially supports. A good support which doesn't feed is worth a lot.
2) Try to choose heroes that don't need much farm to have impact. For example, Viper or Lina.
3) Sometimes Avoid Player function can help if you start the next game just after this one and is afraid that the bad player you played with ends up again in the same team
4) Watch the minimap closely to know when they going to gank you if your support goes away when you are pos 3
5) Finally if you have a lose streak, it's better to have a break from the game and return later.

Why would I switch role when I EASILY climbed from legend to ancient in one month as an offlaner?

I play heroes that allow me to survive 1vs2 since I know that the game will always put me with a griefing pos 4.

I dont have dota plus.

How does my lose streak impact my team mates performance? Why cant they carry me once in 30 games?

I saw another post on here with a pretty great truth.

Essentially, any game, you have 10% influence. You can do your best or worst, but regardless you may still win or lose based on the the performance of the other 9 players, the other 90%.
Since you are also forced into a role, this percentage may be even lower, since others decide how much you see or how strong some enemy is by feeding / dominating them.

Also this isn't 2013 Dota 2 anymore where you can lategame just solo everyone by playing well. So you can't counter-act someone going 0 / 14 on your team-
But the issue is that statistically it makes no sense. Games are usually determined by which team has the griefer, how come that it is usually my team? There are 4 players on my team that can grief (not me) and there are 5 players on the enemy team that can grief. Just by NEVER being the factor that loses me the game I should have at least a 40-50% winrate, But this past week I have a 28% winrate in 61 matches.

So, what you gonna do now?

Not waste time with a rigged system. Dota is a perfect game for jobless people with no ambitions in life. For people like me who value their time, Dota is simply not worth it
( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ ) May 26, 2024 @ 4:37am
It is and you can check it by yourself.

Pick carry all time and just farm. When enemy team are bad your 4 team mates will win the match for you.
When your team mates are bad enemy 4 players will win match in like 20 minutes.

This cycle continues until you stop playing after 15,000 hours.

DELETE THIS GAME NOW !

Did you missed the mmr he mentioned before spamming such comments 😆
If you care about MMR you should be in parties of at least 2-3. I don't recommend 4 stacks, skip to 5.

And you don't have to be in a party with your friends. You can invite randoms from your games into a party, even others from the other team. You want that 20-1 smurf on your team next game, invite them!

I read the entire thread. What I just said unironically works.

But as Ive already explained, I am never the losing factor. I shouldnt have to HARD carry every single game I play with a boring broken hero like LC. All I want is to be matched with people who want to win and have fair games, but I guess that is too much to ask for?

Have you noticed that average match time increased from like 30 minutes to 40 minutes ? Crazy how people don't see this.

Why would the matchmaking be rigged against you but never the other team? Why would Valve even do that?

Also, if you win your lane but your teammates lose their, maybe you’re too focused on your own lane? Maybe your teammates help you but you’re not helping them. It’s a team game, remember?

Again, you’re tilted.
