Is anyone experiencing lag after the patch? I usually play at 30ms, but for a few minutes it spikes to 183ms and stays at that static ping, then drops back down. However, it's instantly fixed if I exit and re-enter, but it's annoying if I'm in the middle of a game

I've played quiet a few hours in the new patch and I do not encounter such issues, nor does any of my friends.

It is likely your network connection.

If the problem persists, I would run some network diagnostics.

You can do this in command prompt
1. Press Windows Key + R
2. Type CMD and hit enter
3. Type "ping 1.1.1.1 -t" (without the inverted commas)

This will run a continuous ping to cloud flares DNS server, you could also do 8.8.8.8 which is googles DNS server.

Keep this running in the background whilst youre gaming. When the issue happens in Dota check the command prompt window, if it is showing "timed out" multiple times or the latency/ping is spiking. Then the issue lies within your network/ISP's network.

I got same issue , I was doubt if my graphic card issue . But I don’t have this issue before new patch

Run the above test while playing Dota, if you see "timed out" at the same time as your issue appears then it is your internet.
If its not your internet and youre sure, try verifying your files, updating your Graphics drivers, lowering your graphics setting and maybe try switch your rendering API.

Do that in Dota under graphics settings/video settings try Vulkan or DirectX (restart between switches)

If nothing fixes your issue then it could be the patch having conflicts on your device. Last ditch attempt would be to reinstall the entire game.

The age old saying goes correlation does not imply causation.

The update itself COULD be the issue, or it could be that the game is advancing and finally your system cannot handle it. Fact is, a few people may be facing this issue, but not a large amount in comparison to the whole player base.

You need to follow process of elimination
