Has anyone figured out any of the less obvious words that get you muted?
I got muted for the remainder of a match for what I think was saying either "damnit", "wtf" or "lmao". I know you can't say the four letting F word. Every time I say that in teamchat, it's as a one word sentence to express I was unlucky or it was close, like "damnit".

I used the f word previously for emphasis, like after asking 5 times to end the game and stop jungling their triangle "can you stop ****ing jungling PLEASE? we can end man". Except I've asked politely 5 times and either been insulted, ignored, or they start some kind of argument for trying to initiate a play.

Anyone have any tips on how to tiptoe? I'm way to afraid of this system to use the mic again.

My advice is: don't write, don't speak.

There are many ways to communicate inside Dota, and you can get very good at those - linking, alt ping, chat wheel.

Internet gaming, in general, devolved: so, as long as the communication score is being harsh and calibrated on speech and text, heed my call, and avoid using those for your own sake, unless in party with friends of course.

And don't use /all, or you are bound to get reported by opponents aswell.

I literally haven't used all chat in so long. I checked the box to not see enemy chatter and never looked back. 50/50 chance that anytime someone on the enemy team is griefing and feeding information it would be a bait anyways, why even read it.

I tried unbinding the enter key for opening chat and the code is so bad that you can still open chat sometimes anyways. This game is getting to be unplayable.

Oh yeah actually I had unbound my enter key to remember to not use chat, and it did work all game anyways. This game is broken on a metaphorical level. The people that made this game aren't playing it anymore.

Well you can either type like a jackass or a normal human being.

Fill your chat wheel with the most important phrases and use it wisely (not spamming or apparently ironic use). It isn‘t that hard, at least with a positive attitude.
