How in the earth can i use heroes voicelines even my DOTA PLUS subscriptions was xpired 2 weeks ago. even my friends can use them without dota plus subscription.

is it normal or what?

hey i also have this same "issue" ... i think it is deliberate on valve's part... i mean they take hero progression and chatlines and sounds away... so having hero chatwheel privileges still intact is fair i think... i love using my monkey king "alright" when teammates perform beyond imagination or "ok that was unexpected" when i die due to hubris ! Glad you made this post though. Maybe now we can have some resolution in next patch and see if the gravy train still keeps running.

This ppl are talking BS. You can use it as much as you want. It could be a bug, could be a feature. This thing is in the game for at least 6-7 month now. Noone cares to fix it.
The only voicelines you can use, is the ones you unlocked when you had dota +. So its whatever. Other ppl here are just paranoid.

It's clearly a bug - since, the moment you stop paying Dota +, the limitations show (that includes the padlock on the voice lines, and not being able to use them "normally".)

I agree with you that has been a long time - but, just because it wasn't fixed, doesn't mean it is meant to be abused.

Let's say leveling beyond 5 without Dota+ could be possible by exploiting a bug. That doesn't mean it is okay to do so, just because they did not fix it. Thing is, Dota + is riddled with bugs and as you said, it feels like no one cares to fix it.

OP asked for clarification on the matter, he got it. If you, OP, or anyone else wants to, do at your own risk. OP even mentioned he wants it fixed, because he doesn't believe it's fair with other Dota + subs, and on that I agree with him - since I am a sub aswell, and I really want to see a lot of things fixed in Dota+.

does not matter if its a bug or not, You are not abusing a game to get an advantage. On top of that. there is no pushing for abusing bugs. You are not playing tournaments. Nobody ever got banned in dota for abusing bugs.
There was literally gamebreaking bugs in the game that allowed you to get items for free and everyone was abusing it. And nobody got banned. Literally nobody.
