I went from legend to guardian

After 7.23, for some reason, I consistenly lose games. 8/10 I finish the game as the top player in team with at least 5k more gold than the 2nd, and my K/D is usually more than 2. I don't understand the problem. I don't want to blame anyone but getting trolls, flamers, grievers in every game with 10k behavior score sure has an effect. I am not that good to carry 4 people in every single game to win. My best rank was legend and I don't think I am playing any worse or better than a legend 1 player. I am so fed up that I also started to become toxic... Here are 3 games out of last 10 matches I have played if anyone wants to check on them. Currently I only play dota for fun, not competition, until the next ranked season because I don't think so in this swamp I will be able to climb back to legend unless I play at least divine level.

Lol dude from 1 divine medal wearer to 1 "divine level player", you are not divine level. Look at the troll game for example....you have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sub 400gpm. How do you expect to win with no items? Your stats look cool KDA wise, but your gpm levels are extremely low tier. Fix your farming issue and you will win more. Just because you have consistent good laning stages doesnt make you automatically good....you clearly dont know how to finish games.

We all have and had feeders. Your situation isnt special. If i can climb 100mmr to 5k mmr, then you can too. You just arent a 5k player yet

That implies that other players went from Legend to Divine at the same time. What have they done differently? Pure luck? Then you had pure bad luck.

The conditions in solo queue are very unreliable by its very nature and create a significant noise in individual match results. It‘s harder to climb but also harder to fall because of the luck factor.

The only significant, non stochastical factors are smurfs and of course if you have more difficulties to adapt to a new meta than others.

If you want to enhance your individual impact on the match outcome you have to take an important part of the matchmaking in your hand: play in full stack with friends. Much more reliable gaming conditions but also more demanding opponents.

I went from 3200 to 2300 . Im a support player . You know what dota is a 2v2 game (pos 1and 2 vs pos 1 and 2). You cant rankup if you play supp . Rank system need to be changed otherwise i wont play any rank match

Whenever I play support I always do my job to stack pull, stack jungle, go ganks and leave pos 1 when it's safe so I won't be leeching exp. Also proper starting items and salves for pos 1 if required. However, despite these efforts, some peopel are just not meant to play carry, or they need to improve, and you end up frustrated

they nerfing heroes alot, also in past mmr was a combination of solo and party mmr, so obv we all had better medals.

Im not sure whether im right or wrong.. my view is that improve your own stats first hand and eventually u will rank up soon. I think MMR dota system is fairly good but troll or smurf is partly the problem too, but i don't believe u will face or met smurf 10/10 games..

Well its your dota2 journey. But when you reach high mmr like 6-7k mmr you'll have your own story to tell and how you achieve it. Thats what makes this game is unique.

Dota's MMR doesnt work like that, especially when its infested with smurfs and trolls as OP and many others have pointed out.

If it's "infested with smurfs and trolls" as you claim, not just that they exist but are absolutely "infested" as you say then that means that OP will be benefiting himself when the smurfs are on his team and the trolls are on the other team.

Kinda funny how people claim they lose thousands of MMR cuz smurfs/trolls/feeders but every game they win is because of their skill, when they feed it's not their fault and how smurfing is somehow never in their favor.

Tbh I don't care about a number that would represent me, that is mmr. I only want to get in a bracket that people know what they are supposed to do with their roles, that's all.

Those same people you want to play with expect the same thing........you just arent good enough for those type of people yet

But that‘s not the message from your original post. You complained about losing ranks.

If you want to play with people „supposed to do something“ besides having fun, get some friends and party up. In that case you can discuss all your wishes for the game with them beforehand.
