Connection Issues with Latest Patch

Is anyone else experiencing odd dota 2 coordinator issues?

For instance I hit ready for a turbo match, and instead of connecting me the game puts me back at home screen with a reconnect or abandon option.

Of course I hit reconnect, which ends up doing nothing and putting me back on home screen with 3 minute time out from searching because coordinator dropped me from the game, instead of reconnecting me.

This issue is 10000% the programming of dota 2. Nothing has changed on my end and I have never had connection issues besides literally losing power due to weather.

Literally just happened again as I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ write this. Screenshots available. Now im stuck in 15 minute time out.

What the ♥♥♥♥. piece of ♥♥♥♥ game, honestly compared to the other games out now, its obvious this ♥♥♥♥ is being sabotaged.

This issue is still happening to a lot of people, been almost a week now... you can open a ticket, but steam support just tells you to go to the discussions boards to troubleshoot.

The only fix that might help you is to right click on Dota 2 from the library page, go to properties and make sure you delete all launch options. This worked for me, but the game started giving me the same problem just a day later. It's strangely inconsistent...

haha even before new update we cant play dota because of administrator, when new update come, still cannot play, useless developer

Didn't have any issues until now. Yesterday i played multiple games without any issues. Today I have got exactly same issue like you.

They should remove the penalty time and fix the issue rather than blaming players for abandonment. My wait time is two hours. :( This has been going on since Friday.

I'm having this issue for almost a week now. My game updated today, but still no fix for me.

I restarted PC - and I was able to play few games ;)

But again in one I had weird issue I couldn't move the screen left using mouse. I could move up, down right but not left xD had to play 1 game using arrows on keyboard :) After another restart problem is gone ;)

Three 60 mb patches were released, but hardcore alpha version is still here. Too much of easy money for fkn Valve in ten years: lazy monkeys disconnected from reality completely. Only way to bring them back is to reduce cash flow to zero: don't spend a penny in alpha version of Dota 2.

Try running both steam and dota as administrator, if it doesn't work or you already run them that way, remove administrator mode.

I don't know if this would help at all because my game start working again (i could spectate games) but a message about VAC not being able to check my pc was showing up everytime i tried searching for a match.

To solve this VAC message i had to either run both as administrator (it solved this issue but it is not good to run steam as admin) or remove admin mode from dota (i had it running in admin mode for years).
