EASY FIX for "Can't connect or watch games" bug

Force update the game by disable/enable DLC. And Disable background downloads.

Right click dota in ur library -> properties -> dlc -> enable one of them, vulkan or opengl support for example -> dota will update

At same interface, click Updates -> Background Downloads -> Never allow background downloads

Test it by watch game, and I can watch live games. Not yet test to play rank.

I selected as vulkan support. Try that first. And make sure you disable background downloads.

I tried doing exactly that, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I'm happy it works for others though.

Enabling dlc vulkan support did it for me. Updated and the error is gone.

WORKED FOR ME.... go to the folder of the game and rename the bin fold to bin_old... then verify the archives in the steam .... it will be reinstall 101 arquives

unable to queue for matchmaking when running dota as administrator ... Am having this same issue,,, tried above steps .. still not working.. Any fix ? so many issues in launching game and watching game / live game from yesterday after Dragon's hoard update .
