Remove Blink dagger
Need to completely remove blink dagger from the game. There is no point to have it and it completely destroys any possible balance in maneuverability for multiple heroes. Plus it has NO effective counter.

Using it should mute and disarm the user for 5 seconds after use, or some extreme nerf like that is needed. There is zero defense or counter items you can buy to stop a slardar blink slamming and stun locking you to death in zero seconds flat

might as well asks to remove Nature Prophet's global teleporting ability that is even worse than Blink Dagger

which will never happen at all.

As positioning is an important aspect of the game, blink dagger is an essential item. And part of many hero item builds. Removing it is just another attempt to dumb down the game‘s complexity.

There are 2 counter items for blink, wards and radiance.

I refuse to believe that you have 4k hours in Dota and still cannot figure out a counter to an item...

What i read between your lines is: New player is annoyed over an item, thus wants it removed.

Explain how you counter blink initiations please. There is nothing long range enough except for mayber snipers ult. Especially if they use fog of war well. There should be a 0.5second disarm and mute after blinking, at the LEAST. It is not good gameplay

The counter to blink are wards (or good game sense if there isn't any) and...
Initiating yourself.

While i do find the idea of DOTA with no blinks interesting to see just for science... It would also effectively destroy so many heroes.
Heroes like Axe, Magnus, Enigma are basically built around using blind dagger. They just can't get value out of their skills otherwise. WTF Axe is gonna do? Just walk in and aggro the whole enemy team manually? No he won't. He'd become an F-tier hero real fast.
The amount of work that would have to go into rebalancing and reworking every single hero that relies on blink dagger to get value... Yeah, not happening.

The counter to enemy initiation is to initiate first. Ideally - into their initiator, so that he couldn't uno reverse card you.
If your team lacks such heroes to do it... Too f*cking bad, you lost because you had an inferior pick, simple as.

An increased activation time would be perfect here a random selection from a range of .2 - .8 seconds. On next the next attack used after blink. Or it mutes a random attack for 3 seconds.

good positioning, awareness, and vision are the main things you need against heroes with blink, and if you have good reaction time just use an instant cast cc like euls or hex, nothing more satisfying than being called a hacker by some scrub LC because you hexed them before they could get duel off
