New Game Mode with No Ban Phase

The problem is simple: i cannot play the hero i want to play because it gets banned 5 out of 6 matches. Most of you would think that's what a Techies spammer should deserve, but i think otherwhise. Dota is a free game and it's one of the game i have most played in my life; to give developers something back i spend roughly 300-500€ every year on this game and i'm a recurring dota plus subscriber. In these last years i'm coming back just to play during compendium time. Do you want to know why? Because of the cave events. I get a sense of completition on doing it. Apart from that i, sadly, quit the game. And i guess some of you are wondering why. Easy as it gets. I just want to spam techies. Can i do that? no. Well, can i do that on unranked? no. Shouldn't an unranked all pick mode exist?! Erm, no.
Ok bans are a core parts of this game, but still i cannot wrap my head aroud on why we could not get a mode (THAT PREVIOUSLY EXISTED) to play what we wants to play. is this that hard? Do you want to play you hero at the risk of encountering any other potential hero? That's fine, accept and go ahead.
This year i have already completed both sides of the cave events and my playing routing is going like this:
-Queque for an unranked all pick, techies got banned. Ok i pick another hero (i play 4-5 pos) and go ahed.
-Queque for a second unranked all pick, techies got banned. Frustation starts to rise. Ok let's play something i would not like to play and let's go ahead (since i don't want to leave games).
-Sometimes at the idea of losing another hour playing something i didn't want to i just change game. Others times i queque for another.
-Let's say techies did not get banned (1 in 6 games) i'm obliged to first pick to avoid others picking him. Do you think i'm happy at this point? Not at all, due to this new """"COOL"""" mechanic if an enemy player choose to pick techies it gets Banned! Do you think that an ultra rare occasion? lol at you.
Sometimes, and yea, that's rare but it happened right today, i pick techies but someone dc and guess what? You just lost your 1 in 6 chance to play techies.
"FUNNY" side note: you should avoid general chat otherwise enemy players may use the report function just because you picked techies.
All in all i can easily end to play him once in 3 days (i do 2-3 matches per day) and that's is getting me away from the game once more.

Create a game mode with no bans phase to prevent some players playing what they wants.

I doubt that Techies is even in top 10 for ban rates.

You have been spamming heroes recently, 9 Bloodseeker matches in a row, 8 losses, 1 win. It looks like you're spamming heroes for guild contracts or cavern crawl quests. Turbo has instant ban picks. If you don't like that, I suggest that you play a different game mode.

Not sure if you are even trying to understand the issue or if you just like to post non inherent datas to give some random conclusion.
How does the fact that i spammed BS (losing streak) on turbo (btw i have completed the whole double caverns on normal all pick, using turbos only on 9 heroes to optimize the axe things) relating to the issue i just explained? Feel free to count how many times techies get banned on your next 10 unranked all pick games and come back with some usefull contribution.

A mode with no bans would be actually amazing. It won't hurt anyone beacuse it will be optional like turbo or ap or any other mode.
I was trying to complete anti-mage cavern-crawl on turbo and seeing him banned almost every game is pretty annoying. Same when trying to play pudge on all pick. He either get's player banned random banned or double pick banned. For players that spam 1 hero or those who just try to learn 1 hero very good it could be just heart breaking :P

Because it's pretty obvious that you're playing the heroes that you want to play. You played Bloodseeker 9 times in a row in turbo just for one win on cavern crawl or a guild contract so obviously you're not being shut out of your hero picks as much as you claim.

Feel free to count the techies bans? I don't need to count the next 10 unranked games because I can tell you that I see techies bans very rarely in allpick. Techies is in the bottom half of Dota 2 heroes for winrate. In fact, I've seen Techies mains who have played almost nothing but Techies for years. I think you're taking one or two games where Techies was banned and trying to make that out as all the time.

1) Doing Caverns differs from playing the heroes you wants to play.
Fact: many times i want to do a specific hero for CC and had to go with another one since it got banned.

3) You have absolutly no data but still going. The fact that techies is low on the Pro Games pick+ban billboard doesn't means anything since we are talking about unranked pubs. The fact that you "don't have to check facts because i already know how it is" doesn't bring anything usefull to this discussion either.

In-game dota+ itself, shows banrate for every single bracket, techies starts at 25% in herald, and is banned up to 31% in divine/immortal games, aka between 1/4-1/3 of every game techies will be banned.

And anti-mage starts over 30% and ends 56%, so more often than once every other game.

just make a techies only mode for people like this, so they can blow up each other all day and not annoy people who try to play the game.
(this hero should not be pickable in ranked games just because it forces you to play an absolutly different game - no hero is like that) - (his aghs is a joke btw)

ps: everybody who play or especialy spam techies, should actualy quit the game and play something else. feels like ppl like this who only play dota to get on peoples nerves and not to have fun, as there is no other reason to pick techies

i sent you images of the dota+ trends, in every bracket aside from herald, techies is 2nd most banned, in herald 5th most banned, which makes techies overall the #2 most banned, and anti mage is always #1 in every bracket for bans.


I can also attest that in my games techies is banned roughly 1/4-1/3 of the time. Nobody likes to play against him.

first pick, no, not so much, yes to 8-10% there, but ban rate is absolutely high, the way i sorted it was how often he's banned as of today, and

shows that the banrate is fairly high, (and again, in all brackets but herald 2nd most banned). He is likely exaggerating on the first pick thing, though it can feel that way when the hero is banned in 1/3rd of the games and then 10% of the games he isn't banned he's picked by someone.

Just play vs bots. They are fine with playing vs techies.
