Turbo the best Dota Mode, at the moment !!!!

At the moment, I think Turbo is the only mode playable.
First, if the game is too unbalanced, it will end in less than 15 minutes.

Second, if there are cheaters, Script Hack is easy to detect due to the fast-paced game that generally exposes this very early in the game.

Third, it's the most competitive mode and the only one in which most games do allow a comeback if you don't organize a good high-ground assault strategy.

Forth, is the only game mode where, in most games, you see the majority of players six-slotted and with full-level skills (30) and consequent full power of the heroes.

Fifth, there are no Smurfs or role abuse, and everyone usually contributes with wards, consumables, dust, etc. because gold is not an issue.

Sixth, the fast-paced game gives a proper adrenaline rush and keeps everyone on their toes, because, till the end, if you throw a team fight, you might lose the game straight there.

I could go on here with a few more great features of Turbo mode.
But the best one is that if the game is just a crap match-up, or there is Toxic behaviour, cheaters, etc., you won't have to waste 30 to 40 minutes to finally put an end to the suffering and misery of the wait for the inevitable lose ........

What do you guys think of this ??

I love Turbo.
I think New Player Mode should be removed and replaced with New Player Turbo - where guild quests can't be completed, but it is not safe to abandon either.
I would love to see Ranked Turbo with the option to have Strickly Solo Matchmaking or 5v5: no in-betweens.

I really enjoy turbo and it is all I play in Dota right now. I do not have time for the normal game and the faster my items get to me the better lol
The only downside is how overpowered some heroes are in turbo.

Turbo is so popular (an in-house competitor to standard Dota2) because it is what it is.

Don't see the heroes overpower as being an issue, I think the problem is more overpowered items, poorly concepted and with unbalanced attributes like khanda for expl.

I still think this is the truth, as the Dota 2 matchmaker algorithm is working, or not working, creating 9 out of 10 lopsided games, win by trampling, lose by trampling...

You close your eyes in turbo and everyone is farmed to the limit, I like slow games where you can wander around trees for at least 20 minutes combined

I agree that its the best mode but I don't think its the most competitive.

In turbo there are heroes and strats that can be abused for easy wins. Arc warden comes to mind as he abuses the lower teleport CD in turbo. Other heroes that would struggle for farm like Spec or PA get so much gold so fast they can quickly solo carry the game.

Something else abusable is the lower building health as Lone Druids bear can destroy a rack in 4 hits with deso/ac and if he has bkb then he can get a free set of racks every time the BKB is up.

Also there is no counterpicking in Turbo as the picks are not visible and in party you could abuse that as well for easy wins.

Either way I want to see a more competitive version of turbo or just ranked turbo.

Yes I agree with you, and it could easily be improved if we could counter pick heroes in the hero selection phase. That would make it more competitive and harder to get unbalanced games.
