There isn't an answer to that, as abandoning a game is classed as a serious case. I'd advise to just not abandon period.
Not sure, but abandon has always been considered a serious offense in Dota 2. There is no medium, but usually
Ranked Abandons are Very, Very Harsh.
Casual / Turbo Abandons are Very Harsh.
There is more things involved in Behavior Score that got you that 2 games in lp: it's a very complicated system that isn't fully disclosed by Valve, but it seems it is some for of track record:
Some people get 1 LP game right after abandon, some people that are in high standards not abandoning and not getting reported as much tendo to just lose behavior score - if I'm not wrong, it used to be at one time -1000 for abandon in ranked".
Dota 2 isn't a game to Abandon. There isn't a standard measure because it is a red card - punishment - in most cases. It'ss an infraction you are not supposed to do this game.
You can play Arcade Games, those are free to abandon and don't counts toward the Behavior Score Progress. There are even older versions of Dota in Arcade. New Player Mode and Bot Matches are also free to abandon.
Pretty much. But LP tends to be between 0 and 5, 7, I've seen as higher as 12 in some posts. That's depends on how often users are send to low.
That is, two leaves per week even with more than 50 games = lp;
Two leaves in less than 25 games per two weeks = lp.
It is extremely possible to get into the lp through a patrol, but there will still be a ban on searching for games 4-6 hours from the moment of sentencing and then a low priority.
DOTA2 is not actually fun and i'm ok with getting banned if it comes to this, but i'd like to know if you do get banned for abandoning too much?
Being punished by abandoning is really harsh in Dota. Low Priority, choosing 3 heroes and all that. Just gotta push it thru.
I get thoroughly crushed everytime. No chance at all.
I know i suck, i'm new. I was kicking ass in new player games. Got 4 MVP on Viper. Then i figured, i'd move on. Failure, hard. Didn't know what i was doing, quit prolly 2 games then this.
Question stands. Do you get banned at 0 behavior?
Im not sure about now, but thats how it works before
If it drops lower again after 6 months ban - one more 6 months ban xDD
If not - youre good player and this is only behavior/toxicity problem
