[FIX] Resolution problem. From 2012 Still working today .

Thank you for doing a terrible service to dota communities, this thread was useful, and the fact that came back after 12 years and still manage to help people proves it, so why close something that is helping people till today from 12 years ago???, instead should flag the problem to whom may be able to fix a problem that apparently have 12 years???


So I'm reposting the Thread relevant content, and hope people still can get the help they need from it.

"some people had the resolution problem just like me. the mouse are really f*cked up and cant click properly, well the trick is easy though. just edit the Video.txt in D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\cfg folder. find the resolution stuffs and change into your prefered resolution :)

find these :

"setting.defaultres" "1680"
"setting.defaultresheight" "1050"

set the number for you own resolution. this should do the trick :D

U guys can do this also:"

1-Right click on dota 2 on steam
2-Click on properties
3-You can see a field that calls "LAUNCH OPTIONS"
4-Type this text right there:
-w (your optional width) -h (your optional height)
For example ==>>
-w 3840 -h 2160
