Who should you give Tango's?

So once in a while (read; alot) I get in those matches where everyone seems to request tangos from supports. The mid position I understand, and I always try to give either one or two tangos. That's because the mid needs the advantage over the other mid to win the lane.

But other carries? I've had a bunch of times where the safelane carry is poking me for tangos. Same for the LC jungler in a previous match (that immediately bought an Iron Talon so he didn't have enough for regen items).

Isn't this just greedy? Or do people really expect the support to buy everyone Tangos, Wards, Couriers, etc?

It's the supports job to get wards, courriers. Giving tangos is an advantage for the carry

pooling tangos only work in a stack, when you know the tangos will be used well.
in pubs, it's definitely just greedy.

i generally only gib tango when in lane and lane partner really needs it

also if you're solo support, don't buy all support items like observers, sentries, dust, smoke, and couriers.
you'll be so gold and exp starved that the team might as well play 4v5.

whiles it's the supports job to get those items, but the responsibility shouldn't be piled on to a single support/player.
position 3 & 4 should help.

the last thing a team needs is a lion with only tranquils + wand by 30 mins.

i don't know what skill bracket some of you players are in, but a poverty stricken support will in most cases die before they have the chance to use any of their abilities, making their damage output or disables a none matter.

even pros let their support at least get glimmer or forcestaff

yea when your in lane and you see your carry get pick on by the enemy but they ignore you (carry more danger then support) then i give the tango or even buy a salve for him if he let me get the range creeps

Only mid should get given tangos IMO (means they can get Null/Wraith and 2 faerie fires).

But they should always ask first before spending all their gold otherwise it's just selfish/greedy.

Just because your support doesn't mean you're the ♥♥♥♥♥. Can't stand it when you have 1 or 2 ganking heroes that don't buy dust against invisible heroes. Sure the support should have dust but you can't be everywhere.

Mids definitely need them to rush important items like bottle for sustain during laning and ganking. As for carries/junglers it should be done when they are actually somewhat low on health. The support needs tangos as well, though most do have long ranges, as most carries have may be melee but they have other ways of surviving laning/jungling like stout shields, higher naturally health/armor, ways to get back quickly, etc.

There's nothing wrong with being a poverty support, as long as everyone else is getting their space and farm you can/will still win. Besides if you don't get much farm on lion, you are still a strong disabler and dmg output. When you demand farm like your other 4 teammates is when you really lose (unless the other team is doing the samething"

yep, been playin like that for a long time. Only one to buy wards and put them, courrier and upgrade and 0 farm. Carries are greedy and won´t give a support anything. And losing a game like that is always the supports fault because he will almost always die as first in a team fight if you are there. Warding will cost you alot off money and xp but that´s the life of a lone support. No items and no hp...

Get all ur spells off, and just stay in the back line. Hope you have a force, euls, or cape to get urself out

if you have forcestaff euls or cape ,then you are not a starved support

A lot of times you are going to be supporting alone and against a very agressive lane. After buying the courier and wards, you shouldn't give the mid any tangoes. The advantage they get is usually minimal. It's just not worth it. If you are confident that the mid will really use the pooled tangoes well, then, well, I guess it can work, but for randoms, the risk is too high.

I honestly prefer to be screamed at and pinged than sharing tangoes. The tangoes I buy are for me or for the carry if he's being harassed a lot.

At least at your skill I presume they get tangos? At mine I see players rush brown boots and a single healing salve.

Mids should be given tangoes. Carries, you might as well if they want them. LCs? They are all cancer, you should troll them and make them lose for picking that hero not for good reasons but just to induldge their afk farm autism

I'll tell you who you shouldn't give tangos to. The feeder who starts the match by yelling "GIVE ME TANGO" in chat like a mentally impaired parrot.

Anybody who needs them. Usually mid if they're rushing bottle. Sometimes your carry, if he's low.
