2GD made some inapropriate, silly jokes as always and Valve got tired of him and fired him among the production team of the Shangai major (lots of pauses in game due to technical issues, delays on the start of games...).

This is the most unprofessional firing I've ever seen or heard from.

Calling someone an "ass" publicly as the reason to fire them, when everyone knows that is his charm and what to expect is complete and utter BS. When the entire production of the major has collapsed and he has to singlehandedly entertain the audience of this massive event that has the production value of a potato chip is BS. He should be getting praise for what he did. Other lesser people would have walked off and just left with a blank stream for hours and hours while perfect world sorted their ♥♥♥♥ out.

This is the highest grossing dota event so far excluding internationals.

He wasn't fired for the stuff he did on camera, but the things he did and said to his employers and coleagues.

A few years ago he was a good caster, watching him do this major was painful though. No knowledge about hero/item changes, boring banter and that friggin white board. I'm not sad to see him go.

Same here.....he really clueless about the game...mostly only comment about players and when they do simple mistake.

Futhermore im not a fan of caster in game really...50% know nothing about the game...and only react whenever ♥♥♥♥ goes down. Sometime just watch game with no caster and let my brain work their way.
