You mean by a firesquad? Out of a cannon? Into Mars?
Also, invis heroes are balanced around this. IIRC windrun used to have lower cooldown near the release of the new wr aghs. They have been balancing for this.
Windrun already gives 100% evasion and a slow, and a boost to speed. Do any other kinds of abilities need as many items to counter as windrun? You can dispell, or pierce the 100% evasion, but now you need 2 slots to counter it. you only have 6 slots and theres 4 other heroes on the other team , likely running different meta item strategies, whether its regen, armor, slow, attack speed, control, etc. The invis of the other heros doesn't give other benefits to this extent. Bounty has a stun, riki has bonus damage based on agility. but thats an ultimate. Clinks gets free skeletons. And dispelling windrun doesn't work after they get bkb, the only real option is an mkb on someone.
Second, other forms of invisibility are balanced differently. For example, Nyx (or anyone with Silver Edge) gets a big burst of initial damage when he loses invis. And Riki can just skulk around the map permenantly invis, picking and choosing his fights. WR doesn't have those benefits.
And third, so then don't try to fight WR when Windrun is up- buy blademail or just wait it out. The same way you can't or shouldn't try to fight other heroes, like Jugg when he ults or Undying when he drops tombstone.
Exactly. If you have space in your backpack even, and it isn't carrying a dust against enemies you know could be usefull, it's just like the smoke test: if there are 3 smokes in your shop during the game, means you are low mmr.
