Just keep playing while pretending chat doesn't exist and avoiding abandons. Went from 3k to 10k last year.
It's not worth the risk if you care about the game, just play a bit of co-op bots with a pusher or something until your BS gets high enough.
Keep in mind, right now I'm sitting at a little over 10k and after getting a winning game my next games will take about 10-15 min to find and I will be crushed with the worst kind of feeders and a "mixed behaviour" score so the rigging factor is involved in queue duration too.
If it doesn't work for you,it's your communication/other reports
I want to start and play Dota 2 daily but i want to keep my behavior score as high as possible ofcourse.
Can anyone explain me what not to do that affects behavior score ?
(i dont even know what my behavior score at this moment is)
Thanks!
I have had 10k my whole dota life (well, I have dipped down a bit sometimes, but i have only ever gone as low as 8k because sometimes you need to abandon a match for real life reasons) and most of the people I meet are either quiet or pleasant.
Behavior score has only been a public thing in recent year,s but I imagine it's effects are the same. The more behavior score you have- the nicer your teammates will be. Keep in mind that does NOT translate to personal skill, just human decency. Dota will also only try to put you with people with similar behavior scores, if matchmaking takes long enough it will broader the scope and you will find yourself with lower/higher (mostly lower) behavior score teammates.
It also enables you to ping items on your teammates inventory (super useful!! But very situational) and 10k behavior and communications core enables you to Coach players with lower mmr than you.
The answer is Reports (there is also a rumor that false reports do it as well), and being muted by your teammates I suppose.
Muting also depends a lot- I think when you mute your whole team you do not influence their behavior score. And if more than one player mutes the same person in their team it is possible their behavior score goes down.
I am.. not quite sure about the last two points tho, because I speak english and a lot of of my teammates are russian, so I would expect them to mute someone speaking in a language they don't understand- yet that has not lowered my behavior score in the least.
tldr- be a decent person, don't flame your enemies in global chat... and this is horrible advice, but don't play mid if you are not confident in it? Dota will always be a bit toxic.
Thanks ;)
Edit: So in general if i behave normal and friendly, dont swear, leave games, troll, etc i should be fine ?
yes. It takes a bit tho. I got 1.5k back in about a month with 50% winrate in about 60 or so matches(I also haven't played for a bit about 2-3 years, and the few times I did in the past years I had to abandon a few games. Ranked match offenses for trolling, grieffing and abandoning should also be more severe.
Everything is logged on Valve's end. They can easily see all accounts linked to the same email, number, PC and other various identifiers.
Erasing the Dota files is nothing compared to the vast amount of logs Valve has on each account.
