In-Match hero guides are not working

I tried loading the hero guides before I step into a match and I have no issues with that but as soon as I get into the match, the newer hero guides that I haven't loaded before won't load anymore ( also checked steam, the workshop download doesn't begin and I have made sure that steam is allowing in-game downloads )

Anyone have the same issue? anyone found a fix yet?

I can not see the guide panel. I went in for a single draft match and guide did not show up for the hero I selected. To solve the bug I disconnected closed the game and opened again. The game started and I received an abandon and 2 hours ban. It is completely unfair and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Ruined my day.

It happen to me too from time to time, usually it fix over time or by restarting steam & dota.
While less convenient, i use the website dotafire when needed. It's just you don't have the quick buy option ingame but it keep give a direction if you need help or build ideas for new heroes / after major patchs.
