PA and Battle Fury

Beloved dota 2 veterans and good players. Why 100% of PA players, good or bad, choose 1st item battle furry over maelstrom? Is maelstorm a better choise for farmming early ? Also the +attspeed of maelstorm utilises better PA ulty... So why BF is better than Maelstrom ?? Help a new player ty gg.

It's because BF has synergy with your passive crit. Players have a dream of initiating on a tight group of enemy heroes and BF cleaves them all to death. Maelstrom not gonna do that and BF scales better into late game.

For being strong early I think Deso is the way to go. Although no it doesn't really increase your farm rate on creeps just heroes.

1. Maelstorm lighting proc is magic damage, so your ult cannot proc with it.
2. Why do you even need attack speed item as PA, your W already increase your attack speed.
3. Battle furry have a cleave that works with PA ult. So, if you hit a target - the other target behind it will takes the damage too.

Instead of attack speed, you can buy Aghanim scepter to reset all PA skills after have a kill. You get a new skill if you buy Aghanim shard which is pretty good against Tanky enemy since it applies break status to enemy.

So, the item will be :
Power Thread
Orb of Corrosion
1 Wraith band
and a Stick/Wand

Thats for early game. Next you can just go Battle Furry and Desolator/BKB. And the rest is just conditional item, you can just buy the Agahanim scepter just like i said before or you can go Basher/Nullifier either way is good depends on the enemy.

Battlefury and maelstorm should only be every bought if you intend to farm early game and not be active.
However the main benefit to battlefury over maelstorm is the extra regen sustain.This not just important for jungling but also for lane.
However the main mistake pa players is buying either of those items 100% of the time.not all games you will get your farm time.this may actually cause your team to lose.
It really comes down to drafts and enemies item timings and win conditions.
Like if you will lose the late game you should not be going for a farm item.
Go deso or something to come on early and take fight to enemy because against a draft that will be very opressive early game or destroy you late game buying bf on PA can be just as much griefing as picking am as carry.

Also dont buy orb of corrosion.its a bait item.Its only viable on a few heroes.
Its actually much worse than it used to be because it doesnt give the armor reduction.Its maybe viable on some str heroes for the attack speed but its stupid to buy on most agility carries as they naturally gain more atttack speed from their agility gain.
The item is really just a high cost laning item that wont pay off for most heroes and only delay your first important item.
This item literally needs to transition to some lane kills to be worth purchasing.If it doesnt you've just wasted a lot of gold

I dont understand that, you will have better results going desolator and bkb or something to survive. If you rush BF you won't have either the dmg or tank to survive. Only get it if the other team has some illusion hero and you already have some intermediate items to actually do something
