can't open scoreboard in dota 2, unable to use key ` and ' in game, need help.

i'm having the same problem. have you fixed it already? tried changing my keyboard and my system region/language already, still nothing works.

yes, its fixed for me.

' is the GOAT hotkey. Sometimes it bugs because keyboard interface / language settings. Those things are messed up by default in windows - for instance, if you spam shift 5-6 times it will try to set the keyboard to "Accessibility Mode".

Make sure you disable those things. My windows is in portuguese, sorry. But it's under language, region, keyboard settings.

Im from SEA, ive been playing for 7 years now and had no problem using " ` " for my scoreboard until I visited Canada last december and for some reason I cant access scoreboard using this " ` " up until now that im back in SEA. Tried using different PCs and i cant still access it.

What worked for me is the following (there could be a better/faster way, I've just didn't have time to research). I've enabled the console from the dota2 properties -> launch options and put "-console" without the quotes. When you open dota2 and now ` is bind to your console, also ', [, ] all at once and I guess some other symbols as well. I've then explicitly bind the ` key to the console hotkey in the options, then put it on the scoreboard hotkey for example and now the scoreboard is opened with `;
So you just explicitly bind a key that's currently opening the console to the console option in the hotkeys section and you then unbind it -> voila this key is now usable without opening the console. I've fixed the usage of ' as well that way
