Whats the fix of this? It will take up to 20mins. With that time, I can do a 2gb+ update.

Did you found any solution for this? I've tried change download region, clear download cache, etc. Nothing's work.

I crashed during a Labyrinth game yesterday in a party and I couldn't reopen dota because the validation took for ever. I tried restarting my pc still I come back and it says validating.

I told my friend to leave the game perhaps it was a server issue the moment they all left the validation stopped and I could play.

I have no idea what that thing is, but it's annoying.

I just press play and force it to stop validating if it's not download anything

If I force open Dota 2, it will shows Downloading Content. Although, no such thing is downloading because if you checj the Library > Downloads, there is no network usage.
