Behavior Score solution!?
So, now that most people have problems with behavior score at the moment, me included, and this affects the majority of player base, i have a question, and some pointers for you guys, until they find a solution or fix it (hopefully very soon, because soon noone can play anmore :O )

It's known, that not communicating helps, makes your behavior score just drop a bit less,
most people reporting, they do not even communicate and it still drops, that includes me aswell.

I actually try boosting it by not communicating, and playing as social as i can, still it drops around -1500 each summary! Soon i will not be able to play dota anymore.

Do Pings also affect behavior score?
Chatwheel affects it
Chat affects it
Voicechat affects it
Wrong Reports affect it, players have unlimited reports and after game report everyone, and these reports DO affect everyone, thus behavior drop from all players at the moment.

If you guys have anything productive to add about this problem, please feel free to do so.
This post is about a workaround, as much as gathering informations, to send them packed together to the dev.

Have a nice day.

VALVE FIX BEHAVIOR SCORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Си́нтез Nov 9, 2023 @ 3:11am
Never question another player, never ping another player, never tell other player what to do. If you want to speak - use "we". We did good, we will come back etc. your lane partner - let them play as they like. Never ask teammate "what are you doing", never argue about their build. Let the game flow the way it flows, never rush a slow game, never prevent fast chaotic game from being fast and chaotic. Just flow with the game.

Never say "solo" , include the rest of the team always in your praises
There will be no fix to anything. Valve doesnt give a single crap about this game. They will continue to bring out more dumb usless skin to milk the game untill its dead. Dont expect any decent updates for this.

Such a trash community, how do you fix people's behaviour? Well the answer is you don't. I have played this game on and off for over a decade, and it still is riddled with people who sabotage the game with their comments and anger. I honestly am never going to play this game again. I use to have fun, but now I just leave angry over teammates and competetors. ♥♥♥♥ DOTA FOREVER #2023
the system of behavior is a part of 50% winrate system, so enjoy dota the way it is or delete this game and play more chillful games (terraria, minecraft etc)

That's obviously the reason, why so many people are dropping.

I have less reports, from less partys, more commends too, than in a behavior summary 2month ago, which 2month ago gave me plus behavior score, now it's even better, and i lose up to 1500.
This is the issue.

Confirmation bias might be playing a hand in the perception of the behavior score as a whole. The people that are happy or okay with it don't have a reason to complain or say anything about it so it *might* look like they don't even exist.

In any case, the way to increase behavior score is to keep a low profile and play support. Commend players when you win, don't say or do anything after a loss.

That's how I went from sub 3k behavior score to 9k. It does take a while though, and you need to be mentally strong as well.

Honestly, i've got always the best score, every single report, 12k.

All my mates at the same.
I think people who have issue with userscore... are people who are toxic in some way.

It's not about how it was months ago, but how it is in the last days

I did read your comment and my comment remains the same. You asked for suggestions and I shared my experiences, did you expect me to throw my hands up and whine? I'm a solution oriented person, not a whiner.

Seeing your last dota game was over 3 months ago, you seem to have not expirienced what the topic is about, thank you anyways for your useful addition of information.
To answer your question, nobody expected anything from you, nobody knows you.

This topic is not for users to call anyone indirect "whiner".

For those, not understanding, to clarify it for you, if you did not expirience it, dont mislead the topic please.
Im talking specificly about:
Positive matches: 14
Reported matches: 2
Abandoned Matches: 0
Reports: 8
Reporting Parties: 2
Comms Reports: 2
Comms Reporting Parties: 1

As you can see, 2 parties reported me in 15 matches,
This conduct summary is exactly - minus 1400 behavior score

Something seems to be not right with behavior score at the moment.

3 months ago? That is not correct. I've played just recently before Halloween. If you're going to accuse me of something the least you can do is get your facts straight, or you look ridiculous otherwise. Match ID: 7382377836

My point still stands. The correct way to increase your behavior score is to keep a low profile, the least interactions you have with people, the less variance there is in the conduct summary. You increase behavior score by having uneventful conduct summaries. The best way to do this is as I described.

1. Play support, to have the least amount of responsibility on you on the outcome of a given game.
2. Be polite when addressed, don't interact otherwise, keep a low profile.
3. Be very patient and mentally strong.

That's my productive input on the conversation, that is how you can try and increase your behavior score. It worked for me in the past. It might work for somebody else. It's not a guarantee but helping somebody out is the least I can try to do.
I find the above numbers hard to believe, except for reports: 8. About a week ago, my score went up +500 twice back to back, and in those, the reports were 3 or less. When I started to lose and throw reports around for no reason, it started to tank, 10-18 reports per summary. I would've been playing ranked right now if I just stayed consistent.

As far as "what's happening recently," I don't think anything. I do agree throwing around reports will automatically reduce your score, for whatever reason whether it's automated or it attracts reports from others, I dunno. What I've found so far is that when I play as if I was playing a real sport like I used to back in the day when I was younger, like football or basketball, if you keep your conduct as you would in real life, the system will reward you for it. And if you act immature or nasty or toxic in anyway, the system will detect it and punish you via "behavior score" consequentially.

As far as reaching out to the developers or steam support, they won't do anything about it and you're wasting your time, because I've already tried it, and at the end of the day, you are voluntarily subjecting yourself to the game; nobody has a gun to your head forcing you to do it.

@Luis: Your list reflects how mature adults should interact with each other empirically. From my experience so far with all of this, I think that's all DOTA 2 expects of their players.

Hope this helps.

And this goes on with like every conduct summary, dropping 1000-1500 behavior score each time, even if it's good conduct summarys..
Please do not misdirect the conversation.

Being reported by two parties in two matches, did not remove 1400 behavior score in the past, with 14 of 15 positive matches.
Man we are talking 14/15 positive matches, if you still do not understand what the topic is about, please do not respond to any of my topics anymore, thank you very much!
