Yes, bb is a fun to play and good hero. Besides the usual items the most important thing is not to chase him and focus on him as a group. Get the other targets first.

bristleback is not broken, the only characters that i currently consider to be broken are muerta and team spirit breaker. first time i played that "new" team spirit breaker i had 20 kills and outcarried enemy troll warlord who also had 20, so it was technically "even" game but no offlaner should be that powerful.

for the Spirit Breaker I think EUL is needed

btw, the passive is bugged, still. If his passive gets broken by silver edge. the damage reduce won´t work anymore but the spray is still working. If you play BB, counter the silver edge with euls scepter. Movement speed and mana reg for BB, overall and compared to others, a cheap item. 2,5 seconds euls vs 3 seconds passive break from silver edge and combined with your insane movement speed you have a high escape potential if things get heaty, with the upgrade.

Mandatory Silver Edge, and optional Skadi on someone who can afford it.
Silver turns off his passive for a while, Skadi prevents regen.

Legion Commander and Ancient Apparition counter picks also help a lot - Legion doesn't care for his passive anyway and AA prevents him from regening.
