I know that I've done this before. In the winter battle pass I had a Naga Siren requirement, so I just went to normal instead of ranked so if I mucked up, I wouldn't hurt anyone's MMR.
It's a 5v5 game. Losing because one guy isn't really trying is obnoxious.
Play bot matches if you don't want to try. Many unranked games still have people predicting.
Because everyone would be a pro Dota 2 player making millions of dollars if it wasn't for their teammates always sucking.
People have literally made serious threads like that, declaring that they could 1v1 pro players or that they totally know what that pro player did wrong or they totally play just like that pro player...or better! But if you've been around the Dota 2 forums for awhile you probably have already seen it.
As people say around here -it's easy to be a general after the battle.
You could see what a pro did wrong, but if he/she would be in his spot at that same moment, he'd probably just freeze like an old pc. xD
