Why do people take 'casual' so intensly?

You aren't losing MMR so whats the point of freaking out if you're losing or someone makes a mistake? I understand if you're flipping out about MMR (Still sad if you do) but why not see un ranked for what it is.
Practise for newer players or if you and your friends wana be stupid together and not get a penalty for it.

I always play to win, I dont mind if people try, and lose, but the raging, chat abuse, ping abuse, and the know it all attitude has got to go from casual.

That would be the day.

When people rage like: OMG G3T OUT SCRUB M8 IM SO MLG that is a true tryhard. when its :lol you all suck but gg snd then next round tries to start a flamewar, but often ends up looking like an idiot, those are trolls.

Some people are actually trying to accomplish challenges for battle passes and stuff, so they do it in unranked, If you wreck the game, then they don't get credit if they accomplish their objective.

I know that I've done this before. In the winter battle pass I had a Naga Siren requirement, so I just went to normal instead of ranked so if I mucked up, I wouldn't hurt anyone's MMR.

Got a Drow Ranger in team from pakistan that did not know how to activate Frost Arrow, so we lost the game, all enemies were fleeing and killing us, best thing casuals.

You can play casually. Just don't advertise that you're playing casually. If you're the one losing the game for your team, "it's just a game", "I'm just trying to have fun", and "calm down" are things you should keep to yourself.

It's a 5v5 game. Losing because one guy isn't really trying is obnoxious.

Play bot matches if you don't want to try. Many unranked games still have people predicting.

People have literally made serious threads like that, declaring that they could 1v1 pro players or that they totally know what that pro player did wrong or they totally play just like that pro player...or better! But if you've been around the Dota 2 forums for awhile you probably have already seen it.

I've seen it all, my friend.
As people say around here -it's easy to be a general after the battle.
You could see what a pro did wrong, but if he/she would be in his spot at that same moment, he'd probably just freeze like an old pc. xD
