it is me or 2023 compendium is useless ?

i just buy compendium not even looking at it cause every year it is good ...

but this year it look like a low cost compendium .;;

in fact i have nearly zero interest in everything i can unlock ....

i feel nothing and don't even have interest to advance or win anything .

i buy the 50level and feel that i unlock only ♥♥♥♥♥♥ item that i don't care at all .

am i alone to feel that ?

Honestly the amount of investment,even if you somehow really like this game, just doesn't justify a bunch of stickers and some sorry excuse for a football fantasy thing

I have mixed feeling on it.

On one hand: yeah, the new compendium is effectively useless to someone like me. I don't give a damn about pro scene or pro players, so all these stickers are utterly worthless to me. THE ONLY thing that interests me in this compendium is the HUD, and its not even ground-smashingly amazing or anything so not even worth the effort.

On the other hand: i understand their reasoning of "we basically make GBs of new content (skins, mostly), just to release it once a year in the most FOMO BS form possible to get people hooked".
Old yearly super-compendiums of 1000 levels terrified me.
For now it appears that we got the "bad" side of the coin that they gave us: which is compendium got badly downgraded.
However: they DID promise that they will still produce same amounts of content, but they will release it smaller chunks throughout the year, instead of dumping it all once a year.

So we haven't even seen the, lets say, "positives" of this deal. We'll have to wait and see if they can deliver something later, but for now... Thanks for saving me money, i suppose.

I got an aegis. I am happy. I pay for team support and aim for aegis. I pick my teams via in-game launcher for tiers. I support the game and product I enjoy playing for thousands of hours. It is nice when more was granted, but it isnt the goal. I understood clear what was offered. I got my 6th shield. I am happy.

I also did this thing where I follow every update and read what is going down, then check the contents of things before I press buy. It is good to be informed and educated. I feel people just drool blood and press buy when a new shiny button shows up, regardless of what it is, and then get angry when it doesnt share patterns from years past.

I don't sympathize anyone, or support anything outside dota 2 competitive sports. I expect nothing, show gratitude for what I get and presume with CS:2, TF2 ("supposedly" getting updates) Dota 2 in seattle, the Deck progress, VR hardware touching and a small staff, they are already trying to grant content but this update did break the game in making it bigger, they didnt even hotfix it properly and that took a few patches.

So this year was kinda mellow. Classic wow compendium was very dry and not very rewarding. What we did get was something, but nothing awe inspiring. It is new, if not flavorful. Valve does what valve wants. This is nothing new to a real valve follower. Next year will be better sonny jimbo. This time next year. Ill get my 7th aegis then.

u should basicly only buy this if u desire to get an aegis replica in that case ull get "cheap" compared to previous bp.
otherwise its useless cuz no immortals/arcana/persona/terrain/towerskins

Thank God. I attest to this. Used to be (If you put 0 effort in the levels) around 450 USD. This was around 180 (after getting the bundle).

Open compendium rewards tab in launcher. If you can collect it has a blue aura around the box.

I'm sorry to hear that, but yes, all the good stuff comes only after ti is over.

It's a very unfortunate that valve failed your trust but you can use it as a lesson to not buy things blindly.

We all did this mistake at some point. I for example bought new battle toads without looking.
