How to get terrain skins?

LIke for example the desert terrain. It looks so beautifull. It's much brighter and makes the game 10x more enjoyable for me.

The only one you can purchase is the chinese asthetics map. It also looks beautiful but it adds so much stuff that obscures vision and the fences on the highground makes it confusing.

So are there any terrain to get?

dont get anything until they fix the game. if they dont fix it. but if they dont hey maybe you will get lucky and on some item website for dota you will see all the people who quit selling all their items like terrains and giftable only sets because thats only way you are going to get them since they made it clear that they dont want to put any effort into the game anymore so no more battlepasses which are where the map-terrains came from and so many other fun cosmetics. but they want to re release all the old stuff since they are trying so hard to kill the game that it wont matter to the people who already have the old stuff because they will be gone so they can just sell the old stuff to the new fools

As above, Monkey King terrace is available for all, if you use dota plus you receive a seasonal. However all other terrain fell behind a famous BP. You gotta wait for the next compendium for a chance.

When are the compendiums usually?

Is gambling when it's in compendium? Or can you just buy it or get it for free?

You can outright buy it, or obtain the asked level, which was never high prior years. When the 1k BP was a thing, it was around level 150 to 250 people got them. So early rewards kind of thing.

Of course with a debit card, ignore the effort, points.

It's just 3€ cheaper. It's not really worth it.

3 quid is a full immo set for clinkz, full immo for pugna and underlord all together. A few bones makes up a massive change. Don't burn the bills because you can.

If it were desert skin I would buy right away, but Monkey King Terrain is bad. The ward pillars are so large, you can't see ♥♥♥♥.

You are correct. Nothing announced yet. You would think we were getting a stain glass motif. We didn't get a terrain last year now that I think about it.
