It is a game so if you are not enjoying it then go play something else for a while. This is steam, there are a ton of games and a lot are free.
Sorry my fault. I tried to be mature with someone who is not. Hope you get better.
Sadly RTS-style gameplay isn't the draw it used to be. People are all about their guns guns guns.
Ever considered why they don't just flat out ban players for their 'transgressions'? They can't afford it. The line between what's tolerated and what isn't would just move more and more to the point where just about everyone gets banned and they would kill off their game. So instead they do what they do now, which is handing out mutes, putting players in low priority or putting players in the hidden pool/gulag. Because whatever happens, the players must continue playing the game.
You complain about everything that bothers you, yet there is no line for them to cross where you say "Alright, that's enough". So they just keep going, they keep irritating you and whenever you finally snap your punishment gets increased. This is their intentional torture under the veil of 'fighting toxicity', because no game has been more toxic than DotA2.
And all you have to do is just stop playing. The more people stop the more Valve is forced to make adjustments. If people stopped playing for the duration they got muted, suddenly mutes would start working differently. People stopping playing because their accounts got to low priority? Just watch a timer getting implemented where the account comes out of low priority on its own.
It will happen, because when people that feel have been wronged don't come back the game will die. As long as you refuse to draw a line and walk away from the game and treat it with the contempt that it has been showing to you, you simply will not get any respect from the developer. They hate your guts because you are contemptible, you let ♥♥♥♥ happen and don't do anything to stop it.
Go play other games. Valve was already forced to change the game's gameplay. Considering LoL hasn't needed to do this shows that at least someone at Valve is concerned about the trajectory of the game. Maybe once enough people quit they stop their 'e-sports' pyramid scheme and actually properly develop the game for a change.
