I mean... That's why you buy items, no? And it's axe only. Nobody else can do that. So I guess ban axe before picking dusa and buy something with lots of HP if you end up playing against him anyway.

you missed the part where her shield now absorbs hp removal type damage

its a bad change though in my opinion if the enemy just uses blade mail you are instantly countered you will nuke off your own shield very quickly if you are not observant + damage from the enemy reducing your mana and then you will die quickly because of low health pool of course you just have to stop attacking and wait for blade mail to come off or switch target which is doable but i still think it is a heavy nerf, im guessing its going to make people focus enemy madusa's because she will be such a easy target now if she doesnt open with ult and hang back behind other carries.

its bugged atm, her shield doesnt block culling because culling applies before shields so he can legit 1shot her late game with just a kaya+veil because the bonus damage amps before the threshold check then the threshold check applies before damage reduction via shields so cull see's health is low enough and just ignores reductions

Frankly that's always how medusa played - hanging behind the team and popping those ults when things get hairy. Unkillable wench...

I agree with you there, i just think its going to make it alot more risky due to the low health pool, i liked being able to choose if i wanted to trade health or mana now i dont have that choice but its fine i will still play her.
