Is it worth investing on dota 2 items?
Hello guys, I am investing in csgo items for some time now, and I was wondering if it is worth investing some of my time to learn about dota and how it's market works so I can invest on its items later on.

It used to be worth it, but with Gaben giving out everything that holds value i.e Arcanas, "exclusive personas" etc i'd stay clear.
Also the market is saturated with items, unless you are going for collectable items/sets there isn't much point any more. I cashed out 3 years ago and have no regrets.

Not worth it, almost everything stacks. A handful of things have gone up in price but are volatile.

It is worth if you aim for high value items and you have good amount of starting money.

I'll say this in the nicest possible way, if you're looking to invest in Dota 2 items you're going to need to have way more experience. Judging by your CSGO inventory (unless this isn't your main account) you have very little to work with. You just got fortunate with the price of cases skyrocketing.

Also I think out of all of the people that have commented so far I am by far the most informed on the matter as I have been dealing with Dota 2 items for 9 years+

The community market meant the death of the player based market, the death of the player based market is the absolute downfall of investment, extremily bad idea, do not invest, they have completely wruined it.

Valve only created the community market so it could lie to people about what is really being sold, and they jus recreate another item to sell (Giving the illusion someone else is selling that item, and then random people invest on that item that is orignally made by steam in disguise) its the biggest scam in centuries, people dont actually sell much and whatever is sold valve jus buys at a discount price jus to remove the item from the market so they can place their fake market ideology so that they make all the money and nobody else does.

the community market literally benefits nobody and offers huge exploitation by bots made by steam to exploit the real sellers and to make extra money valve would not have made.

Trust me.... real investors don't use community market so remove that tinfoil hat

If u know the item might be worth it.. like I buy unusual baby roshan many years ago under market price like 300usd.. hold and wait magic to happen

This is the worst game to invest in.

If you want to invest try buying CS2 cases and holding for a long time.

Make sure you buy the operations then use all your operation rewards on cases then just hold.

All of the operation cases I held are now worth like 5$ dollars, EASILY making up for the 15$ I paid for each operation.
Dota 2 items only depreciate and good ones are not marketable.

I can give you dota 2 items

Not worth, plus if someone steal your items, Valve can't give you back those items.
