Newest patch, along with some previous makes every role fun, and in turbo you will get to experience a full build.
You can pick everything in Turbo. Only difference is:
-Gold and XP are gathered twice as fast.
-Towers are weaker (in hp).
-TP scroll have shorter cooldown.
-You can sell items from anywhere.
-Couriers are always full speed and invulnerable.
-No need to go to secret shop to buy secret shop items.
So games are about half the time of a normal game, but heroes, map and items are all the same.
There is a something in Dota called chatwheel that lets you use your hero's voice. Honestly for me that's gold I really like the personnality of each Hero in the game.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's worth it for you if you're ready to spend several hours of gaming. After 7k hours the game still manages to suprise me. You'll go trough iconic moments that you will remember for ever both individual plays and team plays. No one game is the same really.
Dota 2: Die in low prio games from reports so no so much toxicity
now is not dota any more, new patch ruined the game completly, hero are totally umbalanced now, is full of bug, and many other ♥♥♥♥, but to the other side if you never playted it before you will not feel that ♥♥♥♥, so is your choise, by the way is not complex any more like was before, , again last update make the game a complete brawl game, not a moba any more, so if you like real moba, leave it and serch something better.
In reality there is the same amount of players (if not more) in the new patch and Valve releases bugfixing updates every week or within hours if they're gamebreaking. I also find the new map to be interesting as the previous map and meta were getting stale.
many player with lot of hours don't like new update, i'm 1 of that, why we don't like it? simply, becasue is not dota any more, is avery day more similar to leangue of legend, but if i wanted to play something similar to league of legend i was not here with dota right...
so no 1 is crying here, is just the reality, new update have many problem and many player don't like it, so is normal many will say stayu away from dota at the moment.
Thing is people said exactly that 6 years ago when 7.0 came out and 3 years ago when Neutrals and outpost came out. I'm convinced if Dota was reverted to 6.86 the game would feel slow and doll and we'd get tired of it after just a few days.
The player base has remained the same. Preachers of "dota is dying" have always been wrong considering the numbers...
