Should be a new item that combines Phylactery + Aether Lens

I feel like these two have a perfect synergy for magic damager.
Increase cast range and have a minor magic damage for single target.

Total Cost = 5350 (2375 Phylactery + 2275 Aether Lens + 700 Recipe)
Health Bonus = 330
Mana Bonus = 630
Attribute = +8
Mana Regeneration = 3.5
Cast Range = 225
Empower Spell damage = 180

Aether lens is now not an efficient item for late game, after Octarine core was reworked.

For some heros, Aether lens is a must have item. Especially like Bane and Winter Wyvern. Also, for some heros are situational such as Pugna, disruptor, Shadow Shaman, Oracle and VS

phylactery is too expensive for the benefits. For example phylactery cost 2375 gold and does 150 magic dmg + 1.5 sec slow. Dagon cost 2850, does 400 dmg, and gives you spell life steal. Between the 2, Dagon is insanely better. 250 more dmg and lifesteal to keep you in the fight longer. Phylactery is a waste of gold.

Exactly, this is why you can upgraded it by combine the two (phylactery + Aether) into a new item, which you couldve potentially have This item and build a dagon to do some massive magic damage. (dagon is single target which would trigger the effect of phylactery)

Very black and white claim to make. Phylactery is a situational tempo-item that is extremely good on some heroes and useless on others. Take for example Skywrath Mage who can abuse the short 5 second CD of Phylactery which adds up damage throughout a fight but more importantly provides a long duration of 50% slow when totaled.

Jakiro however is unable to utilize the Phylactery hence why it is situational. The fact that Dagon does 400 damage doesn't in any way invalidate Phylactery. If these two do indeed become upgradable together, Tinker will return ready for DotA 7.33c.
