Is winrate with octarine core deceptive

There's a decision to go octarine as a luxury item when you are ahead. But I keep seeing people get it and grief the game with it as bad itemization instead. Losing a game because someone goes octarine instead of something like lotus orb feels bad.

Is its winrate high because it wins games? Or is it because its bought in winning games as a luxury item?

Why is there no standard for griefing for people who grief with item builds. Like those who build core as a 4 or 5. Who builds octarine core as support and why is that ok?

If you look at dota buff the winrate with octarines is very high. If octarine is actually the key to easy wins, could someone explain to me why that is, because everything I see its an item that hurts players ability to impact the game as compared to some other item.

Pretty sure it isn't octarine or lotus that lose or wins games. It's more about macro and team play.

Octarine is a great item that is combined from aether lence with more mana and durability. All of those sit great on any support.
