Dota 2 Corrupt Disk / Crash on update [FIXED] 2023
These are some steps I did to fix my Dota2 Corrupt Disk Error. I'm posting here because I couldn't find anywhere! ( Thank me later )

1. Go to Steam Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders
2. Choose the Disk your Dota2 is installed > click on settings > Repair Folder
3. Steam Settings > Downloads > Clear Download cache ( it will log you off )
4. Close your steam completely
5. Go to your Disk and find Steam Library
6. Steam Library > steamapps > Rename your Download folder (dont worry, steam will create a new one)
7. Log in back > Restart your update and hope it works

You can also try this steps (worked for me)

1. Uninstall your Dota2
2. Go to Steam Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders
3. Choose the Disk your Dota2 is installed > click on settings > Repair Folder
4. Steam Settings > Downloads > Clear Download cache ( it will log you off )
5. Close your steam completely
6. Go to your Disk and find Steam Library
7. Steam Library > steamapps > Common > Rename the folder Dota2 (it will force steam to create a new folder to your Dota2, and so, if the older folder is corrupted, this will fix )

3 emergencial step to fix this problem:

Dota2 is the problem, uninstall it for real, find a therapist.

I hope it work with you guys. hugs :Heartyou:

you must rename the steam folder, so it will create a new steam folder when you install dota2 again

You must rename your " Download " Folder as I said at the post.
DO NOT FOLLOW HIS SAY, JUST CHECK ON YOUR STEAM SETTINGS> STORAGE> CHECK WHETHER THE LOCATION OF YOUR GAME FOLDER DRIVE IS INCLUDED ON THE DRIVE LISTS

IF U WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOUR GAME IS INSTALLED, BROWSE YOUR DRIVES, IN WHERE THERE ARE STEAM FILE, CLICK IT SEARCH >STEAMAPPS, THEN >COMMON

ALL THE GAMES INSTALLED ON THAT DRIVE WILL APPEAR

SO SETTINGS>STORAGE>ADD DRIVE ON WHICH THAT STEAM GAME IS INSTALLED

SOMETIMES STEAM DONT SEE THE DRIVE IN CASE OF BUGS AND UNEXPECTED SHUT DOWN ERROR
