Auto Bans are perma removing my heroes from play, and ruining the fun of dota

Dear Community and Dota 2 Devs:

I am a casual ranked player. I play only ranked for fun. I have been playing since before Dota all stars. I recently came back after 1 year. The auto ban feature has ruined and destroyed this game for me. The few heroes I wish to play are permanently banned every game. Thanks to the lovely feature of Auto Ban, automatically banning the highest ban rate heroes every game. There is very little chance my heroes get through. I have tried over 10 games now and not one game was my hero even available to pick.

This auto ban feature is counter intuitive. It is suppose to stop people from playing the same heroes over and over, suppose to stop a strong hero in the meta? How is a perma ban on a rather large pool of heroes a solution? To eliminate an entire pool of heroes permanently (approx 12-13% of the hero pool)? There has to be better solutions. I don't know them. But even a simple option of giving people a guaranteed 100% ban for 10 total heroes would be better than this auto ban feature that is entirely eliminating heroes from play. IF a hero is so strong or annoying, let the players and community decide that with their own bans every game. This way, there's a chance heroes get through, and players can actually have fun playing the heroes they want to. Let the players decide their own fates.

Furthermore, Who Cares if heroes are overplayed or over banned. We play this game for Fun! Ranked All Pick, keyword being ALL PICK, is meant so you can choose a hero you want. When 16 heroes are banned with the highest ban rates, you are essentially eliminating the highest ban rate heroes from the game entirely.

The bottom line, despite all logic or fairness, despite whether you agree with autobans or not, you are isolating and driving away players from your game. This is a poorly thought out feature from a gameplay design perspective that is making your very fan base frustrated and angry.

If I cant even play the heroes I want, what is the point? Imagine playing any other game, and being told you cannot play your favorite heroes or use your favorite skills. There aren't any! That is the entire point of a game, to play the way you want to. It's so, so silly to do this to apply this generic autoban feature on the community.

I for one, an ancient dota player, will be retiring due to this feature. Being told I simply cannot play my favorite heroes is the worst feature I have ever seen in any game of any genre. It's a bad design feature, and a bad community feature to simply eliminate the same 16 heroes from gameplay.

Still haven't been able to play a few of my favorite heroes, they are 100% banned

theres a 3rd party site that actually lets you see who banned who. i forget which one. if they are auto-banned by valve, thats some sad messed up bs.

Even if no hero are selected to be ban the game will still pick some. Elected ban have 50% chances of happening.
