The tutorials will help you to get a really good foundation.
Ignore MMR and try to enjoy the gameplay mechanics.
Dota 2 is a lot more hard then LoL..
Cheaters, toxic and griefers are in every online game..
Expecially on LoL and you probaly know it more then me if you play LoL from 2015..
If you wanna try Dota 2 then i suggest you to play a lot with bots for the moment..
I also tell you that on Dota 2 there isn't the jungle role but instead 2 support hard and soft..
Hard is the one who goes in safe lane with the carry(Adc)..
Soft is the one who starts offlane but he has to roam..
So, on LoL Adc goes aganist each other in bot lane, on Dota 2 no..
Carry goes aganist the offlaners..
Bot lane is the safe lane of the Radiant(Blue team on LoL)..
Top lane is the safe lane of the Dire(Red team on LoL)..
Mid is the same of LoL i guess..
There are no drakes, no barons, no herald.. Just the Roshan..
On Dota 2 you can deny your allies creeps so enemy laner doesn't get the farm..
Here on Dota 2 there is the courier who can travel from the base to you with the items that you buy..
If i will remember other things i will write you them here..
Ive been playing in parties for 3 years now and its been more fun :)
lol not toxic because everyone has a chat game ban.
It has 0% to do with it the game and 100% to do with how people act in any online competitive multiplayer game.
I have max behaviour score and rarely encounter 'all these toxic people' steam forum users claim exist.
Simply out if you act toxic and grief you get matched with those people in low behaviour brackets.
Op the matchmaking system matches you based off behaviour score.if you flame and grief the score drops and you get more likely matched with these kind of people.
Keep behaviour score max and you dont encounter this kind much.
Dota 2 is a popular MOBA game with a large and dedicated player base. It has a steep learning curve and can be challenging for new players, but it can also be very rewarding once you get the hang of it. While there are certainly issues with cheaters and toxic players, these are problems that are unfortunately present in many online multiplayer games. However, there are also many friendly and helpful players in the Dota 2 community who can offer advice and guidance to new players.
If you're interested in trying Dota 2, I would recommend starting with the tutorial and playing some bot matches to get a feel for the game mechanics. You can also watch streams and tutorials online to learn more about the game. Additionally, joining a friendly community or finding some friends to play with can make the learning process more enjoyable.
Overall, whether or not Dota 2 is worth getting into is a matter of personal preference. If you enjoy the MOBA genre and are willing to put in the time and effort to learn the game, then it could be a great choice for you.
