I used to drink a lot of Monster while playing Dota till they banned it in my country for excess caffeine content.

Well there's an energy drink called "♥♥♥♥♥" in the UK. Because it's supposed to taste like one. I think they had an ad campaign banned or at least, some ppl complained about it.

If you're using it as a performance booster for reaction times, it could in theory give limited results, but i wouldnt gurantee it working for the full duration of a hour average match, because once the effect wears off, the addatives and the sugar will draw you back in to have another one because it will start to tire you immensely.

Ingesting a lot of it, given the high sugar content (& lack of exercise to burn it off) is not good for your health and may in the long term lead to you becoming ill/contracting diabetes if mixed in with a unactive lifestyle

Could be a placebo effect. If you believe strongly enough that it helps, then it might have some positive effect due to your optimistic point of view.

Apart from that, no. It doesn't give you more knowledge, more practice or anything else that helps.

Haha nice1! Yeah "CHERRY POP" is real, never been banned but seems to be in limited quantity, probably few people actually bought one... it's called Quagmire's CHERRY POP Energy Drink
