However, later on Huskars ult is easily cancelled by OD's W.
I think it is a matter of trying to keep up CS wise and remembering to alert others as soon as OD is gone. Good rotations and ganks should keep her/him/it? in check for the laning phase.

That's where your lane control and CS capabilities comes in.. You can harass OD in a lot of ways possible (he's squishy and gets f****d hard with silences). You already know that he will use A.I. , next best thing .. BKB
SeemsGood
1. Try using heroes that aren't mana dependent against him
Huskar and Viper are all great mid heroes, they don't rely on mana at all and can give lots of DoT debuffs that will melt OD, and I believe it still hurts during Imprisonment. Just be careful of Huskar since he's very vulnerable to the bonus pure damage OD gets, but Viper shouldn't be a problem due to his skin, allowing him to trade hits and causes a slower attack speed, oh wait that's next
2. Prevent him from attacking
The only way of OD stealing Int from you is to land the orbs on you, so that means Blindness, Disarm will save you time, if OD banishes himself, it can buy you time, if he banishes you, I have no words. But Deafing Blast, Laser, Windrun, Heaven's Halberd, Fate's Edict, and importantly the Radiance's burn can all help you to deal with him, along with that, Radiance cancels his blink from the imprisonment. only at the right tick
People find him OP because of the mind set that only Agility heroes can be real carries(true to an extend), and generally insta pick Agility heroes. Avoid that and pick a QOP or Silencer or Puck to play against OD.
Actually, Puck can be insanely good against OD.
